R@CE 45's Custom MVC patch for Takuma by DarkShade

Yet another release, the 2nd of the last 3 but yet this time, its for Ryo's
Old man, Takuma. Yep, another man who has fought
Akuma, and has lived to tell about it.

This takuma isnt like his old self, by fighting the
fearsome Silver, as well as the Dark Hadou Master, Akuma, he has picked
up a few new moves and made them his own.

Takuma has also harnessed the power to channel
his chi and bend wind to is will, making him more powerful
than he was as Mr.Karate

Note : i forgot to put the coding for the hyper bg in this supermove so put this in state def 3100,

ok, and also be warned that the patch is quite large., but worth it!!!



 This char has a whole lot of work put into it
Velocites should be in order, as well as pause times
And remember, these are not just regular patches
all of my patches will always include new moves &
more!!!!

Note: didnt feel like going over all the new moves and stuff, so i will
do later cus i am pushing for time, but check the cmd to see how to do them


I edited his some of his super moves. Then i gave him new specials

He has the Kou-Hadouken which can be done on the ground or air.


Takuma also has power charge now which can be
done by holding z+b


Takuma also has mostly all of the mvc style abilities
and sprites,he has superjump, a hyper portrait
and bg,ground and air chaining and also able to
go from a normal punch or kick to a special
or a hyper.I added new sound effects to his snd.
I also changed up his original hyper movesand
specials and made them seem more dramatic and to
make them into more what i like so if you want
more info on them please see the cmd file

R@CE...my God...thanks again. This is an awesome character to say the least. I just tried him out and I am extremely impressed with everything you've done to him. Whoever doesn't download this patch is completely insane. I'll just leave it at that. Thanks again man, you're awesome.  :w00t:

Very nice patch, still not personally a fan of having a dodge button, but I think I'm getting used to it now. II just disable the dodge and then there is no problem. He plays great, and you picked a decent character to patch as well. Even the new moves look fantastic.

Edit: I found one thing that isn't so much as a problem, just not that sensible. He has a charge punch special, with good draw time, but it hits them about halfway across the screen and hurts them a fair bit....But then you have his very quick, basic hard kick, and that does more damage and knocks them across the screen? Just seems to me like that move isn't really needed, since you can just do your uber kick xD

yeah man i cant decide on who will be the last release....

I think this is what i will do, i am gonna go back and make a few modifications on my old stuff, and most recent and then convert it to the new style i am doin...


Seeing that what i am doin is not really mvc style, its somethin similar with somethin esle, i am gonna do a another style

All i ask, does anyone kno how to make slide in portraits like they do on King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match...

please let me kno asap

 i do understand what you mean, its somethin i will have to fix, but that normal move you are talkin about wasnt meant to be a normal move, intended on making it so that it would take away some of your energy so you cant keep on doin it, and of course i was gonna lower the damage of that move cus you are exactly right dude, it shouldnt take more than the special. As for the knocking back attack, that is what it is used for in kof, and the whole knockin him across the screen further than the special, well that is staying becuz in kof, the knockback attack is meant to knock u back, its just like in Hokuto No ken kinda, they hit u with a powerful hit that sends you flying to the other side of the screen...

Now it is different from hokuto No ken, but u get what i mean.. It knocks you back further than the specials do... And its what i like, and it is staying... I am also like i said before gonna go back and poweradd on there to make it take away some energ so u cant spam it over and over.

I am not mad or anything, just letting u kno, i just like it this way, and after i change those things above along with other stuff i havent listed, that will be it....
