Internet problems

Lately, my connection has been pretty bad. I'm on a wireless connection, DLink. When I got this computer last week, the internet worked perfectly, but now it's become slow and times out A LOT. I am not sure what to do to fix it, other than having to buy a new router. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Who's your ISP? Did they give you the router?
Most ISP's if they give you the router and you have anyproblems, they'll take care of the issue for free, even replacing the router, or setting up a booster to help it.
