why does my PsP keep turning off automatically?

Hello Fellow IMT members I have a little problem ... my PSP shuts off without warning I know its not bricked because I can still use it sometimes use it for a little while but then it will just shut off on me at the random and yes my Battery is fully charged nothing wrong with the battery its the psp  itself can anyone help with this situation if so that would be quite helpful

Are you using the Pandora Battery to play your PSP because it's supposed to be used only for hacking. You need to use another PSP battery that isn't a Pandora one if you want to play it.

It might be a software problem too.

is it at the psp menu or ingame, if so which game?

my psp turns off sometimes when I play x-men mutant academy 2, I can only play so many rounds before it quits on me.

nah im not using a pandora battery its a reg one that was pandora hacked so i can play emulator games

Check if it isn`t a plugin or a setting enabled in the Recovery Menu, if it is a Software Problem, in the Recovery Menu, hit Format Flash1 and reset settings, if nothing, then re-install M33 on it using a Pandora Battery, if that doesn`t work, then it`s a Hardware problem and you`ll need someone to look into it, cause it might be the hinges of the battery slot breaking or your Power/Hold switch is off.

did it start to do this recently? maybe y should try recovering to ur last working settings, maybe this problem is from an update i updated to 5.00 and now my psp shuts itself off when i put it on powersave while playing an emulator

im guessing by the fact that you said "it isn't a pandora battery, it's a battery that was pandora hacked" that you are trying to play with a pandora battery.
