Can stages from Killer Instinct and Virtua Fighter be done?

I'm wondering if the actual stages, not remakes, of stages from Killer Instinct and Virtua Fighter 1 are possible, or is the 3D issue make it not possible to rip the graphics?

Reason I ask, I'd love to see a port of Orchid/Cinder/Spinal's stages where it uses the zoom feature. I also would love to have that 'floating square' arena from VF1.

Come to think of it, has anyone tried getting the VF characters into MUGEN? Kage would totally kick butt. :-)

well thats a big question. ripping from next gen and last gen systems is impossible but somewho I've seen Hires stages for soul caliber and some from gears of war. They may have been made by taking photos but usually when you do that you get a lot of grit it would have to be photoshoped to perfection.

Someone made Spinal's KIG stage, it's in Hires (3D as well). However, you cannot do a "zoom" effect in Mugen without cheap tricks to character coding. Regardless, it just won't look as good as the games.

Darn, it's from KI2. Never really was a fan of the sequel, (mostly because they didn't include Cinder!)

I made some Virtua Fighter stages for M.U.G.E.N. and there are two other ones from VF2 which are Jeffry's and Akira's stages.
