The main event was ok...you could get the feeling it was a "personal" revenge and was pretty intense.
It would have been interesting for the heels to retain/get the titles though,it would have been more interesting to watch

Well,let's recap:

Dark/unaired match?:Carlito and Primo defeated Miz and John Morrison to unify the Tag Team Titles in a lumberjack match

MITB ladder match:CM Punk wins after kicking Kane down from the ladder.There were a few botches on this one and a pretty nasty landing from MVP outside the ring(Shelton threw him on Mark Henry)

Chris Jericho defeated Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat,"Superfly" Snuka and Roddy Piper in an elimination match.After beating down Ric Flair,Mickey Rourke knocked him down with a punch on the back of his head when Jericho called him out to the ring
Kudos to Steamboat for being in such a good shape and making this match worth something!

25-diva battle royal:"Santina" Marella won the match(ROFL!!!

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels:17-0.Enough said.Best match of the event and an instant classic

World Heavyweight Championship:Cena pins Big Show to win the title in a triple threat match,after FU' ing both other contenders

WWE Championship:Triple H defeated Randy Orton to retain his title with a pedigree after hitting him with a sledgehammer with the ref down

Rating:7 out of 10 because of Taker vs Michaels,otherwise it would be a lower score imo

Undertaker Vs. Shawn was indeed the best match , The last match was meh and the triple threat match between Edge , cena and big show kinda sucked.

Before last night, Ricky The Dragon Steamboat hadn't wrestled a match in 15 years. From what I saw, Steamboat had no ring rust whatsoever...

Piper and Snuka have frequently come back to the WWE for matches and yet neither of them were as good in the ring as Steamboat was...

Do you realize how sad that is?

yeah,practically this WM was Undertaker vs HBK and that's it...the rest of the matches were not that good,but not bad either
and as i said before,kudos for Steamboat for staying in such shape after such a long time...

@fer619:probably they made the Tag Titles a "dark match" to include it as an extra on the DVD release and to give more time to Taker vs HBK

i hate that gay a** CM Punk managed to win again. then again its expected since WWE doesnt know how to optimize all of their talent and only focuses on certain wrestlers since they're the "cash cows" no matter how horrible they are (aka Cena and Punk)

but CM Punk is way better than Cena,performance wise
let's remember something:winning MITB doesn't really guarantee you a title shot,as other wrestlers could challenge you for the briefcase(Edge won Mr Kennedy's title shot,then he cashed it in)
updates from last monday

1 day after Mania and we already have 2 matches for Backlash!

Orton,Ted DiBiase jr and Cody Rhodes vs HHH,Shane Mc Mahon and...Batista
on a steel cage match(it seems wwe title will be on the line,so that would be the time for Orton to get the title)

And a "classic":Cena vs Edge(rematch clause tecnically,but it states this is the last time he will be able to challenge cena.BORING!)

And it seems that Santino Marella's new gimmick is being "Santina" and wrestling the women

Horrible? You must not have seen Punk in ROH. It's WWE's fault for toning him down.

i don't recall batista being suspended,but out due to a legit injury(they don't take out of TV guys like Batista or Cena suspended,he was indeed injured)

i thought it was that and roids, but i might be wrong. but if he was not suspended why wouldnt they put him in wrestlemaina, they could of found a spot for him, or at least a promo.

It was a legit injury. The reason he wasn't on the card was probably because they didn't want to rush him into matches... Plus there really was no place for him. Unless you count the lumberjack match which vince definately wouldn't put him in because he's a main eventer and almost every lumberjack was mid-card
