SHIN AKUMA was/is to be a boss in a full game i had planned but may be off now. glassbox was to make the screenpack for me but i havent heard from him in a while so it might be off.  glassbox PM me please.

he has a versus/sf3 selector but the sf3 version is incomplete so this is basically the versus, the ai is only in versus.

he has 2 bugs i know of, one is where he does the wall kick in the air sometimes and the other is in his level 2 uppercut, where is p2 hits the wall SHIN AKUMAS elbow where still hit p2 from across the screen. if anyone knows how to fix these please help me out.

other than that he is pretty complete. 

  First God for putting me on this earth and giving me the abilities and understanding for this.

  POTS at mugen guild for all the coding help. there is soo much he has helped me out with that
it is next to impossible for me to remember it all. he has helped me on my other releases and
with my WIPs that in turn transfered over from them to SHIN AKUMA. from the code for the lifebars
to the character direction to his open source characters which i used for reference and code.
without his help many aspects of the character would not be possible. I CANNOT PUT IN WORDS ALL
THE RESPECT HE DESERVES.  RESPECT TO THE FULLEST!!!

  Vyn at Infinity for the open source Damage Dampening code.  RESPECT!!!!

  Winane at mugen guild for the AI Triggers.  RESPECT!!!!

  Alchemist at mugen-infantry for all the code help and testing. RESPECT!!!!

  Beximus at mugen-infantry for all the code help. RESPECT!!!!

Air Attack From Tenma Kuujinkyaku-i will look into and fix this
as for the no sounds i will fix
-Misogi Has No Super Spark Effect. i never knew it had a super spark but will come up with something
-Shun Goku Sastu Lvl2 Moves Kinda Slow. Like Guy's Super. since it was a lvl2 i made it slower but it can hit if you are in the air unlike the lvl1
-The Wind Effect On Hurricane Kick. the effects only activate after a lvl2 hyper or if you connect 2 or more hypers. this also activates other moves like the spinning uppercut-follow up hits and the alt lvl2 uppercut etc.

my gosh, this is gonna be sick.... and stonger than your hulk!!!   :o

 :w00t:Dude, when you last released this Akuma he became one of my all time favorites. Now an update? This month just keeps getting better and better. Thanks for sharing your work. That air kick hyper is one of the coolest moves ever. That would be cool if after he kicked through the opponent he jumped off the other wall and did his downwards chop slamming the opponent into the ground. That's dreaming though. Oh yeah, how come all your other characters are down? I really want to try your Hulk.

I like him MGM i really do =D> but:

-the hadoukens are TOO BIG. especially the air.
-why does the ground hadouken start from the middle of his arms??
-there is too much animation around the hurricane kick. normal & hyper.
-the chains seem to be slow no matter how fast i press the buttons
-the hit sounds are weak, especially the strong hits and last hyper combo hit.
-the air hyper combo, like shadow lady's, has no sound and really shouldnt be a slow mo still imo. make him dissapear, reappear then hit and dissapear again then a big bang to finish.
-the wall kick seems weak becuz p2 dont fly across the screen or hit the wall (expected that @least). sound is weak too.
-the hyper thats down, back + 2punch. it is too short and the effects looks shotty cuz the screen goes black. the effects really dont seem to be animated correctly or last long enough. just looks like a quick execution.

i wouldnt be surprised if all this was fixed/improved with an update...

*sorry if my feedback isnt perfect or professional. just imo. nice palettes btw :thumbsup:

very nice work MG, i'll be looking forward to the updated version.
some feedback for u, ignore what's intended.

1-something is wrong with the lp, lk and walking forward animations/sprites...they don't look right

2-the stop snd code in the shin shoryu lvl2 hyper (statedef 1390) causes problems, like music stuttering and mugen crashes

3-the Shin Air Demon hyper needs a big hit/impact sound.

4-Shin Wall Kick misses sometimes.

5-the custom get hit state associated with the close hk is a bit strange looking, mostly when the enemy bounces back from the ground.

6-the Press special running startup animation sprites sizes are smaller than his normal sprites and it
lacks that thing he is wearing on his feet...i remember these were problems with Proxicide's sprites.

7-i managed to get a 30 hit combo using only the hk Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku when the enemy is cornered...it can be spammed

8-managed to keep the enemy in the air after hitting him by a shouryuken with another shouryuken.

9-if Kongou Kokuretsu Zan barley hits the enemy/enemy was a bit far from it but still could get hit, the custom get hit will look messed up.

10-auto facing p2 while jumping is a bit hard to deal with if you are fighting against akuma....it's bad news for the enemy.

11-Misogi hyper doesn't have any kind of impact if it doesn't hit the enemy...needs a sound and and maybe an envshake if it misses too.

12-the 2nd part of lvl2 Messatsu Gou Rasen/Hurricane hyper that starts off with a crouching hp, (statedef 3014) looks a bit strange, it seems that the first hits send the enemy into the air and makes
akuma attempts a shouruken so they both fly for a few ticks then the hyper continues on the ground..it looks as if both akuma and the enemy are actually bouncing.

13 the Shin Press hyper/Press special doesn't have a grapping sound.

14-the mk can't chain to the crouching mk while the rest of the normal attacks can, lp can chain to crouching lp..etc

thanks for the feedback, i dot remember what all i fixed so far but there is still more to do from the feedback. he will be updated soon and hope to have all/most of these things fixed/changed. will respond to more in a bit(im running late right now)

as for now, i have been trying out different hi-rez tutorials from here and the guild and i am having problems on the same step in every tut(the step where you add the color back to the black and white image) and it always adds the color to the BG along with the FX which in the tutorials it only adds color to the FX. if i can get help on this i might change some of the FX but most will stay.

do you have something in mind for the FX?

are you planning on making a gouken?, in the screenshot of akuma there he is with my sprite!.

yes Ohsky im using your sprites for my Gouken WIP he is pretty complete but im using akumas sounds until i can get some good/clean gouken sf4 voices, i also have alittle sprite work left but i really put him on hold until i get the voices and after the 28th ;)

theres alot of feedback so i will test them as soon as i can and get everything up and running.
