Aaannndddd.... it's at the Olympics. Again. (The winter olympics to be exact...)

The first game was enjoyable, but it's was really, really, hard. Hopefully, the difficulty will be toned down a little...
Just make a platforming crossover, dammit.

Oh well, this looks like it'll be a lot more fun than the first game, especially if snowboarding is like it was in Sonic Adventure.

I swear, seems like they still got a war going on. This is not like back in the day of SNES vs Gen on who can do better. If they are teaming up, at least do it right by making it like a adventure. Robotnik tries to take out Sonic with one of his machines but something goes wrong and opens up a rift leading to Mario's world. Something like this would be nice. It sounds corny but at least it's a step in the right direction in my opinion.

What if one of the Chaos Emeralds ended up in Mario's world after they were last scattered and the plumber accidentally chaos controls to Sonic's world?

hmm, I liked Mario 64, and I've been playing since the Duck Hunt days.

What would be really cool and a step in thr right direction would be to add Capcom to the next Smash Bros game, dante, Megaman, Ryu, that would rock!

I think smash has the possibility of evolving into something that isn't just a nintendo fighting game. I think everyone expected sonic to make it in as a guest eventually, considering he's basically the anti nintendo, but snake opened up some interesting doors.

imagine that it starts slowly, by implementing a few capcom characters, say. Eventually the game becomes more of a mashup type of thing, with characters from plenty of different games by different companies. eventually it moves beyond that, and includes things like popular comics or anime. after that it could become the type of thing where when a new game is announced nobody knows what characters to expect, and are always pleasantly surprised.

it's not entirely far fetched, considering we've had link, spawn, and star wars characters in soul calibur, mortal kombat mixing it up with DC, and capcom doing games with SNK, Marvel, and Tatsunoko.

it would be awesome.

if not, I'd settle for mario and sonic at the special Olympics.

nah man, think about it. it would still play like smash, it would just have different characters. Guys like link, mario, kirby, and captain falcon have almost nothing in common outside of the smash universe, but put them in the same game and they blend seamlessly. Snake is a perfect example. they put him in smash, and it still feels like smash. they just have to expand on this.

I think having guest characters is fine, in fact I support it. But only if they don't exceed 1/10 of the total roster. Nintendo has an abundance of it's own characters and franchises, and those should build most of the roster.

well with that attitude, it will always be "that Nintendo fighting game." I was thinking more of the possibilities of it expanding into something much bigger.
