Remember that rapid regeneration cannot restore damage to the head/brain or vital internal organs(i assume it works similar to Ulquiorra's)

True and as an story teller id say that he'd wouldnt die so easy but that rule can be tossed aside by a surprise attack by an strong character.

Idk if he is died but that certainly is a death blow. he'll probably regenerate tho.

yup, he hasn't used his release and he still has hollowfication and bankai after that. ichigo is already in bankai so aizen is gonna slaughter them

My million dollar question would be : why to send Byakuya and Kenpachi to nowhere when everybody know they should have been there for the big battle.

(my question's not about why the authors did that, it's obvious they did want that other warriors could shine in this epic battle, but what is the deliberate purpose the shinigami will explain for doing that)

hey dont fret i understand you quite well. That is something to wonder. Not just those two but all the captains that sent to the Hueco Mundo would have been good in the big battle but i thought they already gave an explanation tho. I cant remembers anyone tho but captain Kurotsuchi who said how can he turn down and opportunity for research.

Tecnically,Kenpachi and Byakuya are actually facing the strongest enemy of the entire group of the Espada(Yammy is the Cero Espada after all)
Honestly i don't really get why the hell the old man sent Unohana with the best 3 captains of the Gotei 13 and went without anyone who could really heal injuries(Kira handled the situation pretty good in that massacre named Allon)
