My friend has a theory that Naruto and Sasuke are going to kill each other in battle very soon and the series will end I, however, disagree, being that Naruto has yet to become Hokage, do you think the series wll end soon, and if so, how?

You can't really say he cheated when it was like 25 on 1 and you and i know what would of happened if sasuke was alone.

well it is just another excuse for them to do another long drawn out form of training that will just eat up time
but, it looks like the end of the series is not too far off from the way they are going.
