Yeah I have to agree.
I actually predicted a fifth movie would come out this year.
Last year my friend wanted to see Saw IV with me. I really didn't want to, so in my head I remember thinking, maybe next year Saw V if I'm up to it.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be a saw VI next year.

lol yeah i guess this series isn't too popular around here but i actually like the saw series. I think the plan is to go to saw 6 then its all done....i got all the saw movies on dvd (they actually have some good extras on the dvd's) and i'll be watching this when it comes out; although i didn't think saw 4 was that great, it was good but i like the first 3 better. A good thing about this movie is that Meagan Good's in it, so if the movie is garbage then i always got her to watch (unless they kill her off fast.....hopefully that doesnt happen  [-O<)

Hm. Getting kinda TROLLTIEM in here.

Nobody is trolling here, we are just posting are opinions so don't try to start anything here, you got the wrong forum.

On Topic, yeah I agree with AdReNaLiNe new one every year with the same storyline, concept, blah blah blah boring to me. but whoever likes this movie and wants to go see it then more power to you. I wouldn't be surprised at all if I see Saw VI next year. :D

Topic starts off by saying the Saw series is good. The posts afterward bash the series. Thus, trolling.

Moving on.

3 and 4 happened at the same time, so technically he died in both. (i know, I said  /:O as well)

Why nobody says something about the 6 Star Wars movies?
(Or 7 if you want to add the animated one from this year)

mostly because the star wars movies are all interconnecting parts of a story that was written long before, and all advance a plot that stretches over a VERY long period of time.

the saw movies are pretty much the same thing, over and over and over again. the only thing that sells them is the unnecessary gore and violence.

also, the star wars movies have spacing, and were made to advance a story. the saw movies are churned out as fast as possible to make a quick buck.

it's like going out to a fancy restaurant every now and then, and ordering the same thing every time vs. buying mcdonalds every week for dinner.

I also find it funny how people are bashing it for the many sequels as there were other classic horror film series doing the same thing.

Let's also not forget the ten Friday the 13th movies, eight A Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween movies. Oh should I go on people?

... six Leprechaun movies... okay i'm done. :P

I kind of agree with you on there, but some of those movies do change. The first Friday the 13th was more about the mother of Jason, while the 2nd and then on took off with Jason, and Jason goes to hell was kind of different with him possessing other peoples bodies. Halloween was more of a continuing storyline. Although 3 didn't have anything to do with the other films. Halloween Resurrection was kind of a departure from the storyline, because the movie starts with the conclusion of the brother sister brawling. Then a bunch of tourists invade Michaels house. The last Freddy movie was kind of a departure as well where Freddy goes into the real world because some idiot designed a mechanical claw prop.

Saw though, every single film it has some guy putting people into deathtraps. Since 3 and 4 have the same story, you can kind of view them as the same movie.

another thing, all the other horror movies (main stream that is)

atleast has diffrent people, but there atleast..well damn, it's sad when the only charecter worth the canon is the murder anyway
lol.

but well. atleast with the other movies, they TRY somthing diffrent
in the SAW series
it's just abunch of people and death traps. I know it's hypocritical but you got to admit.
Death Traps and a Clown Puppet just....get old really fast.

not to mention the fact they make so many so quick.
it's like there not even trying.

Star Wars Episode II and Episode III took their damn time and weren't on the same levels of the original trilogy or Episode I either. :-w

Episode II were too much talking and the real action was until the end of it.
Still... A better movie than Episode III. 8=|

Now Episode III...
The movie that should be a legend was nothing near to what I was hoping to see... :-w

I can't deny that Saw got the same base plot with just different people and traps.
Going on circles over and over again.

But for God sake... At least let us (People who have been watching the other 4 movies and trying to put all the pieces of the story together) know how on earth is going to end the damn plot to create real criticism about all the movies and the plot as one thing!!! \-/o

No movie franchise should become a quintology in less than a decade.  :(|)

The Saw series is becoming the EA Sports of the theater, releasing the same thing on a yearly basis with only slight changes.
