Firefox3 Help and errors

Ok heres whats happening i just shutted down my computer about an hour ago, so i got back on.. then double clicked firefox right? so tell me why, it says restore previous session, or start new session EVERY time i get on it now when i havent been on the firefox browser .. and my firefox homepage wont show up (Screen is just a huge white blank),My adress bar will not come down at all,& it wont let me Click back < or Foward > to the next pages ..


any sugeestion on what should i do cause this is actually a pain in the a$$
