My computer will become a massive lagfest if I use that.So no go for me.I see no point of going to hi def when we have hi res.

I'm curious too, my computer probably won't be able to handle HD, it has a hard enough time with GG chars and experiences lag at random times on optimal settings..  :(

EDIT: Theres a difference between Hi-def and Hi res? I thought they were the same...

Well... the first thing I think about is compress the folder with Winrar or Winzip maybe.

Made every thing too small...except chars. I'm gonna stick with MUGENPlus.

best idea i heard but alot will have to be redone if this gets big and i dont think mugen creators will like that very much

EDIT: Theres a difference between Hi-def and Hi res? I thought they were the same...

-"aPoC."

Hi-res runs at 640x480 normally. Hi-def runs at 800x600, meaning your normal low-res stages or high-res stages won't work on Hi-def unless you resize the sprites and adjust the position of every sprite.

This is what it looks like but no characters or stages have been made with 1280x960 resolution in mind. The character select screen benefits the most from the increased resolution.

so we keep finding ways to make the stages prettier and prettier, yet we only have a fistful of characters that don't look like an explosion at the pixel factory when put in these settings?

awesome.

So thats what I was afraid of, basically you would need to start over to take advantage of the graphics   >:P

I'm content with low rez stuff. it may not be eye poppingly beautiful, but at least it all looks decent, on the same level, as opposed to half looking fantastic and the other half looking abysmal.
