people play mugen for like 2 days and say its boring.imo mugen is a fun game

I don't think everyone really enjoys mugen as much as some other ppl do.PPL in General doesn't like mugen because how unbalanced it is and how the chars sprites are completely mismatched and with the different gameplay styles it can impact the chances of wins and losses in matches plus because of the fact that mugen really has no story at all is also what makes ppl shy away from it.Not to mention since mugen is also prone to screwing up.And mugen is NOT a game it's an engine to make your own fighting game.

As for me I think mugen's boring.It's only fun when you have ppl to play with.

wat Animugen said, and also, one of the biggest reasons that turns me off about mugen is the crappy broken characters. the ones with about 100 sprites and no attacks or anything. authors like POTS and Loganir make MY mugen so interesting. i have about 300 chars and ALL of them are able to play. so reasons why people hate mugen after 2 days, unbalanced and crappy characters.

I hate cheap chars,Broken chars,Dumb AI or Wild AI chars,The Omni Psych,God,Orochi,Dead,God etc. etc. of each character.I also hate hentei characters and sexy KO's too.

well maybe because of this:

-Not much space for the first roster
-Some people are dumb and cannot add other chars in and they get bored of KFM
-The text that appears on your new mugen
-the laziness of going from site to site to download stuff and installing it

Maybe because some people dont know how to do all the artist work like us Veterans, such as editing screenpack & characters, customising sounds, & other stuff.

Becuz they get the worse chars ever made and say that the whole thing is broken disregarding the fact that finding the well made ones would probably satisfy their need. But once they see the broken chars then they think all of it sucks so they go around talkin trash about it spreading their influential disease, like a bully in middle school, to get everyone to think how they do to fully make a mockery of the hobby. One thing that sucks about being human..........they always fear what they dont understand or take out their own insecurities on others to make themselves feel better. That's my psychological input on the answer to the question of the topic.

dam thats a detailed explanation but... to sum it up I think its cause they cant make stuff easy like smackdown and then cry in there moms bed room even if they are 40 something years old and have no dam life (not that I'm saying that I'm not the same cause I cryed about that the first day but I STOOK AROUND LIKE A VIRUS OR A BAD TICK)

Also one more thing.I'm sure you guys know I've already mentioned this but I think another reason some ppl don't like mugen is because how there's not much variety in chars.You know since all we have are Ryu's and Ken's and nothing else.(My way of saying that there's nothing but clones)I'm sure there are ppl that's not really into SF,GG,KOF etc. and yet those are the characters your mostly going to find.I believe that's another reason.

To me Mugensucks.The only reason I'm here is for Social Interaction,and the MVC Project.Once Card Sagas Wars come out I'm going to trash my current mugen roster.

Mugen is hard because you have to filter out all the crap characters and stages cheap ai's and tweak the settings continuously i have'nt played mugen in about a month just becuase i don't feel like tweaking everything but once everything is set its fun

True I've had it bad at the MFG Real Bad.MI is ok even though there some dumb@$$e$ over there.Here is the friendliest but has the least amount of activity.I also hate coding chars and changing SP because how long and tedious it is.Especially when coding a char's attack to not be under or overpowering you'd continuously have to recode reopen mugen to test it and you'd be stuck for like over 12 hours until you find the problem.Mugen really isn't that great if you ask me.It WAS when I first started but it's not so awesome anymore.All I'm doing is working on my SSBB SP and MVC3.But I hardly play them.But when friends are over then we play mugen together then that's when it's fun.
