alot of my Chars not working?

ever since 1 day ago.all my new chars dont work when i download a char and i put him in the game i open winmugen and he/she is not there

yeah i check the folder to see if the def was the same i edit it.put them in the game and they didn't show.im thinking its just the char

Check for mispellings..
ssjsongoku
isn't the same as
ssj son goku.

Sometimes if the .def file name doesn't match the folder name it won't go on either. So are they no characters in your select screen?

they are lets say i want to butt hulk i put him in the game and he does not show up

Step 1 > Unzip File
Step  2 > Open up the file, make sure it's not a folder inside of a folder. Click the folder, copy or drag and drop it into your char folder.
Step 3 > Open up the data folder, goto select.def open up in Wordpad or Notepad. Scroll down to where the examples are.  It should look like kfm. stages/stagenmae/def. Add in your character like that.  Example : Hulk, stages/stagename.def
Step 4 > If it worked.  You should see your character. Look at the file names closely..
