James Bond:who is he?

As you all know,most of the 007 movies have featured many different actors over the years,but i believe nobody ever wondered...why nobody cuestioned the story of the character?
I came to this absolute conclusion(after thinking it for 5 minutes  ):James Bond is not one single individual,but instead is the designated codename for agents 007 over the decades
This single fact logically explains the actor change in the following years
Ian Fleming might have thought his book thinking in one single agent,but movies have developed beyond the age limitations...
This only applies for the movies of course

Actors change because the times change.

Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Christian Bale have all played
Batman/Bruce Wayne, and had a butler named Alfred.
Same with all the actors of Superman/Clark Kent (including the tv series "Lois and Clark").

It's just something that happens, just because the actors changed, doesn't necessarily mean the character is completely different at all.
It could be that it's a different director doing the movie, or the director had decided somebody else would do better to play as James Bond.

Thats how I like to think of it, it just makes better sense if you ask me..

ignoring the super heroes,because we know exactly who they are and how they look(in general)
there has no appropiate description so far on how bond really looked like,making the theory even more valid for the movies:he`s a secret agent,and therefore nobody really knows who he is 
I know the gen/director/writer/contract make the changes more and more often,but isn`t it at least something to think about it when you are bored?

Yeah they either get to old to play bond or they move to other things

Dont forget the first bond was in an older like movie cerial version of Casino Royal. Theres been allot thought the age, and the way they played it in the new version of Casino Royal, it would seem that, you may be right in thinking that way. Makes sence to me
