Meh, I just lost all of my crap back in April.

My Windows operating system was missing its CONFIG file, so I had to reinstall Windows, which erased everything that was on my hard drive.

So I decided to quit MUGEN and (try) to move on to more important things in life.

I had to install Ubuntu via safe mode with networking(to download Ubuntu) because microsft's OS's are a pain in the @$$ when it comes to spyware trying to kill windows. I would not be surprised if I have windows viruses on my Ubuntu machine(they wont hurt my machine) and its a good thing I backup all the stuff I wanted.

Also I have heard you can spread viruses via usb.

i mean my computer turns on but it just takes me to the black screen that has these choices........safe mode, and continue with last progress known....


when i click on either of them my computer just restarts.......


if there is hope on bringing it back....tell me how or message me

Heh, believe it or not one of the reasons I have not been here is because I too have my Missing MUGEN problems...
I rather not talk about how it happened, its pretty embarassing to mention    ...

But I would like to ask if anyone could hook a brotha up with one(or more) of those data recovery programs?   

I've been searching by myself and found no leads...

looks like youve not searched at all considering if u even put data recovery software in google stuff would come up about it. data recovery software is even one of the programs. stop being lazy tsk tsk tsk. get utorrent and go to btmon.com to search or do a search on katz.cd...

I've somewhat was in your shoes.I remember when my Windows went heywire On me.The Desktop would load up but the icons refused then the blue screen of death would appear.Boy I remembered that was months back until I found the Windows XP Disc That was sitting on my Disc Rack.I had to reinstall my OS.When I did all of my mugen stuff was gone.However I had it burned on CD.It wasn't all of the latest but I must say it was at least 78% of the stuff I had before I had to reinstall my OS.So yeah these things happen.That's life.Life's Random you never know what'll happen tomorrow.You know what they always say expect the unexpected.Anyhoo I hope you get all of your stuff back man.Good Luck.

   Yea, the thing with downloading cracks is that you have to dodge of viruses    ...

I don't have to worry because I'm using linux(Ubuntu) which is very well built compared to windows. Heck I downloaded 109 updates last night and when I checked the updates again after I installed all of those updates there was nine more! The updates are really fast.

not every program like that has spyware on the inside. just be very careful though. once youve had experience with this for a while then youll learn to tell if it has something bad in it or not. or you can just scan it will your scanner before opening it...
