I'm hoping someone here still remembers playing their Commodore 64 back in the day and can help me identify a game that I've been trying to for years! In the game you played as a small blue can of bug spray that moved across the bottom of the screen. You would fire pellets (which humorously looked like pieces of popcorn) at patches of green grass and insects which would make their way down from the top of the screen. The first stage would have a series of ants that would make their way down by marching from left to right. The second stage would have a couple of bees that whirred their way down, etc. A life would be lost if one of the insects touched you, with a different "death scene" for each type of insect (the ant would bonk you to death, the bee would make you turn yellow and hop away off the screen, etc.) It was actually a very fun game.
The AVGN recently reviewed the Intellivision game system which included a game called "Buzz Bombers" in which you play as a can of bug spray against insects. It looks similar to the concept of the game that I am referring to but alas it does not share the same name.
If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
