I just brought an Xbox Elite and am i need of friends...

I wasn't sure if there was a post about Xbox friends already, I just set up my xbox360 live gold membership so i can play online now, and as the subject noted am in need of friends.

You wanna here something crazy?

  My BRAND NEW Xbox360 Elite Harddrive crashed in just THREE DAYS?!? 

I was playing Forza2 and was in mid race and it just cut off like someone pulled the plug clear out the wall, but strangely enough it rebooted itself. Little did I notice that the harddrive just took a phat dump on me. The Elite started doing this weird loop where:

-It powers on and the screen cuts in, but just before you see the 360 ball logo roll in - Cut.

-Power cuts off, pauses then cut back on by itself repeating the cycle, probably seeing like Less the 10% of the intro screen before your dashboard.

Of course when I brought it, since i already dropped $600+ bills on a brand new Elite and wireless network adaptor and a year of Xbox live, I didn't buy the store warrenty... (Audience is in Awe)

So I took it back today and explained what happened, showing them the "consule loop". They said they've never seen anything like that before, so they went against store policy and let me box swap for a new Elite and new 120Gb harddrive since it would be easier for them to Warrenty it then me - Downside to that is, I was ranked 27 in Call of Duty4, and now I have nothing... guess I'd rather have no records then no Xbox, especially because GTA4 is comming out in 44 Daze, 5 Hours, 42 Mins, and 7 Secs... Fully paid on pre-order might i add. yeh, just a little excited.

So that was my Elite nightmare but I'm back online and adding people daily.

Adding .Eternal once I finally pull myself away from the forums to set the new system up.
