MAME Emulation: Some questions

Not to worry, I know how to handle MAME. :) I would just like to know: Why are many Sega games like Cool Riders and the AMV chipset games not supported? (Virtua Fighter, Virtua Striker, Virtua Racing, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On) Is there any way to play them on MAME?
