When it comes to the lips, there are too few colors to make them look like they are naturally part of the portrait. Plus, they seem to be a bit too bright and stand out oddly.

When it comes to the lips, there are too few colors to make them look like they are naturally part of the portrait. Plus, they seem to be a bit too bright and stand out oddly.

Good observation, I'll try and add a color or to more to the pallet to be able to tone the lips out a little more. Similar to the checkered toning of the skin. I think once the tone is in place and the color are tuned a little it should look more natural. Ill be sure to correct that.
