It Reminds me of "Shinobi" From the Genesis days. I saw comments on the movie like "Oh a ninja gaiden flick"..
nah nah . Its dope lookin but it definitely aint a N.J. kinda film.


Btw there is another called NINJA. by Adam Atkins er somethin and all i gotta say bout that is "ok try but...."

Wow, seems pretty nice to be honest, I just hope they won't include every goddamn stupid ninja stereotype and stuff like that.
But I sure am waiting to see this one.

Dont get me wrong. he was a great director with "Undisputed 2" (which was dope )
But this looks like hella cheese







not gonna front back in the day i was a bit amused by American Ninja back in the day . but as u get older and wiser and stuff like Ninja Gaiden come into thought u think way differently ....

ninja assassin looks very promising. i've been excited since i saw the commercial. it looked like a ninja styled wanted to me too and i like that movie. that other ninja movie looks crappy to me though. looks like they tried too hard

yeh exactly with that other ninja movie...
he kinda looks like a corny KAMEN/power Ranger er somethin..with a splash of a low grade style of Batman begins on how those ninjas looked

Honestly I think its better for them to do new ninja movies rather then just making a Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden game based movie. For me Shinobi died after the genesis days. The plot in the ps2 games was nothing like the genesis plot, the characters were different, the gameplay was very different but that can be debated since there was never a specific style of Shinobi since all the 2d games played drastically different. Its just wasn't shinobi though. Its like Sega just told a company to make a ninja game and slap the name on it hoping old fans would buy it. It would be like Sega naming Yakuza Shenmue 3 instead because the games are beat em up/role playing games. Its just odd. The new Ninja gaiden games, things have changed a lot considering in the newer games Ryus dad is named Jo, and the older NES games he was called Ken, but they still have remained true to the series being about Ryu.

Its just impossible for any american director to make a movie based on ninja games though because directors don't care about the original plot. So... yeah... I'm looking forward to Ninja Assassin and hope it does well... and I hope UK doesn't go all TMNT on the movie and rename it Hero Assassin.
