You guys should change theme each month for holidays (like google). Keep the original theme, then during the week of a holiday change it to a color matching that holiday. If the current dark theme had some orange in it, it would be perfect for halloween.

I was wondering why IMT changed visually around 3:00 to 4:00 am.  I thought I just had a bad internet connection or something.  First IMT was black, and I couldn't read any of the text on the screen; then  when i refreshed the page it was kind of a dark-blue-ish colo; then it was grey (which is what it is now).

I can't believe IMT changed just for my month! September rules!

I saw each and every one of the various color changes Excursion was making to the forum, it was funny seeing it change constantly. I did really like the one where it had a more metallic look to it as it seemed to fit IMT the best imo. You can't please everyone as there will always be someone that doesn't like how it looks, just go with whatever fits and feels best.

Even themes that are selectable in the preferences are a no go. No matter which interface on SMF you use to select a theme they are still drawn from the same directory. So that means Excursion would still have to code all the mods into each and every theme he put up. So basically its way to much of a hassle.

now I'm not saying we need to change the forum back, but I suggest the Faithful, Contributor ect. ranks get a brighter color for the display name.

this is the only thing i see wrong with the current look....

that and some avatars look bad, but most that do where bad looking before the change >_>

Anyway, On Topic: I'm digging the darker theme overall, but the quoted text boxes need some color adjustments. All that shows up in the info box is the author's name, and even that is tough to read. The date and such are basically invisible.

Fixed. Member's names now appear in orange. Yes, you can tell a News Reporter name from a regular members. I am sure you can tell the difference between KPT25's name and WiiFang's right?

I see you are changing the colors of display names so they show up better on the forum, that's cool. I noticed mine changed to orange and it caught me by surprise. It will take some getting used to the new colors. I hope people don't get all confused.
