Do you use the order option?

Hey just curious if any body actually uses the order option in there select def file.

I do to get through arcade mode in my MUGEN you have to fight 30 single round battles.

3 each against each of the following groups

1st group Street Fighter
2nd group Marvel Comics (that are not included in other groups listed below)
3rd group Spider-Man (includes Spidey and his various enemies)
4th group Mega Man
5th group DC Comics
6th group Final Fight (Haggar, Guy, Poison, Sodom, Rolento)
7th group Darkstalkers
8th group X-Men (Heroes & Villains)
9th group Mortal kombat (Consists of Binho's MK char's and Ahrimais' Orchid)
10th group Various Others (Such as Baby Commando, EMW's Snowman etc)

Uh... are you talking about the EVE Screenpack?

I don't think that many MUGEN peoplez use that screenpack anymore...

No...what I mean is when you are seting up your select file  to pu the various char in your MUGEN do you set it up so you fight a certain person in a certain order.

Like this for example

Order - Number of Fights - Group
01 - 2 - xmen
02 - 2 - xmen boss (cyclops, storm, wolverine, cable)
03 - 2 - Justice League
04 - 2 - Justice League boss (batman, superman, woderman, green lantern)
05 - 2 - Avengers
06 - 2 - Avengers boss (iroman, sentry, miss marvel, cap america)
07 - 6 - Villains & amalgam
08 - 2 - Villains boss (magneto, juggz, dr doom, green globin, lex luthor, joker)
09 - 1 - thanos, darkseid
10 - 1 -thanoseid

I use to a long time ago.  It was like this:
Easy chars - 1
Med chars - 2
Hard chars - 3
Sub bosses - 4
More Hard chars - 5
Boss chars - 6

BTW im guessing you already know this but that orchid is not from MK. she is from killer instinct even tho its a custom made char.

Yes I am aware of this, I just included her in there just to give me one the cpu one more option for me to fight in that particular bracket.

Tell you what, delete all of them except one, name that one order=1 and there you go

Well for me it is easy, except for a few exception I only have one version of a given character. The only exception to that is Batman, Spidey and Wolverine.

For Batman I have both Alucard and the IMT one
Spidey I have Seth's and the one just release here at the party and then
Wolverine I have normal one and Unmasked one.

I've actually got several MUGEN set-ups (big@$$ hard drive FTW!), and I do use the order option for a couple of them. My huge everything-I-got 1200+ char set-up doesn't, though. I'm not THAT nuts!

VS-style roster:

order 1 = easy/ no-AI chars
order 2 = chars capable of putting up a fight
order 3 = Tough chars (i.e. vyn's EOH chars, Magneto, Juggy, Sentinel, Dark Bolt, etc)
order 4 = Hardcore chars (i.e. Wonderwoman, Sandman, most Spec Ops chars, etc.)
order 5 = Sub-bosses (Apocalypse, Galactus (Acey), Dr. Wily, Professor X)
order 6 = Bosses (Onslaught, S. Onslaught, Galactus (Ex), MB-02)
order 7 = Abyss (Sludge)

Mixed roster (I kept this one pretty simple, since it does have almost 500 chars):

order 1 = Average chars
order 2 = Tough chars
order 3 = Bonus stage
order 4 = Sub-bosses
order 5 = End boss (I've got quite a few, but I mostly avoided the VS bosses for this one.)
