The only thing Fireman does not have sprited at this point is his throw, I'm stumped on that.

Since he's Mvc styled he needs to have one to fit in with the other characters I have already made.  Crashman fliped P2 over his head and stuck a Crashbomb to him.  A quick shoulder toss like Chun-Li shouldn't be to hard to sprite and it wouldn't need many sprites.

I've just tested the character ; here's the few feedback I can provide. Since there's not any 'readme' included in the folder, I dunno what's already supposed to be updated later.

[WARNING] = Goin' straight to the point sometimes, don't feel offended.


* The hitsparks are outdated // Use MvC(2) hitsparks.
* The hitsounds are outdated // Use MvC(2) hitsounds.
* The superjump bg effect is nothing related to MvC(2) // Use MvC(2) superjump effect.
* The back,front+P super leads to an infinite (got it in less than 20s) ; moreover the fire style is ugly ; Laspacho said above, that it comes from MvC2 Jill's hyper, probably from RyouWin then, 'cause it suffers from an heavy color loss ; contact Magus and ask him permission to use his effects, they're from far better made (+ edit them with more variation of orange/red/yellow, so that it fits Fireman).
* There's a useless flash effect coming with both standing & crouching HK ; unless these moves are supposed to make you can start some air combos, there's no reason for this flash effect appears (assuming crouching HP is THE only basic move leading to an air combo).
* The QCB+P fire effect is awful ; have a look to Captain Commando or Dhalsim largest flame, you'll get the point... The super hasn't got any variation, nor in its range nor in its power ; why is HP the only button working to perform that move ? Moreover it's HP, it's supposed to make your opponent suffers from some important reaction (cf Captain Commando or even Dhalsim, when the opponent's either pushed back or falls down).
* Are you planning to add more sound effects to Fireman ? He's a bit quiet, if you ask me.

All in all, the character itself is way too much personalized, it doesn't fit the other characters (Robot Masters) fighting style at all, which is the forever prob. with characters made by some of you guys on IMT, whereas they're supposed to be part of a global project (it doesn't make sense, seriously) ; that's the reason why you should keep relying on MvC2 standards. [etg], your style may have worked for Helmetless Megaman, which is YOUR personalized vers. of Megaman, the result of YOUR own tastes, however it can't work with Fireman, no offense.
The most important thing in YOUR character especially, [etg], Laspacho, is that he's supposed to be a fire char., then you MUST focus on providing him the MOST DECENT fire effects ever made so far, or else he's just another character among several others, not unique at all <=> I told the same to Excursion, whom the version of Iceman isn't as good as it COULD be.

I'm looking forward to playing a Fireman, whom the final version has been made with more involvement (I know it's a beta, just relying on the direction you're taking so far, which is bad). See ya and good luck !!

Wow. All I can say is of course Fireman will match the other RM's for the project but as far a stand-alone release, [ETG] told he himself once that that is his signature style so I doubt those effects (hyper BG, superjump, dash, dush landing, etc) will be going anywhere.

Thanks for the feedback lots of those things will be addressed in a future release.  The spark effects will eventually be changed to for our full game to match it.  (All of our currently released characters will need to be changed to match the game)  I also have all the sounds and voices ripped from Megaman Powered up (PSP).  So the next release of him will have many more sounds and voices.  And more voices to go with the new moves.  I did use Captain commando's flames, so unless someone else has a better flame that is going to stay.  I don't think I lost any color on Jills flame, the colors probably just different since Fireman is under the flames.   :-??

As for the throw my vote is like a rhino's attack, a ducking head motion to a steight standing position tossing the opponent over him like a throw,  leaving the opponent with some air maybe a little fire as well.  Having no hands kinda sucks... e  :D

I think the jill flame looks great. Only thing bout the captain commando flame, u should make it longer, or how about using dhalsims flame

Anyone who ask me to program for them will end up personalized. None of my character are program for any project.
I didn't program fireman to be in any project just programming for laspacho. I did not state that its mvc gameplay.

I honestly love the effects that Etg used to make Fireman and in his characters.  Etg did a great job coding Fireman and I can never thank someone who works with me enough.   :thumbsup:
Eoh has enough Megaman characters at the moment we can keep Fireman for Robot Master Mayhem, or Etg Makes MVC3 Fireman or any of my characters are welcome to be in it.   ;)

That's a awesome looking screen pack and great looking Megaman characters you have there Etg.
