Let's say you have worked very hard on your M.U.G.E.N. creation, sacrificing you free time in devotion to your contribution to the M.U.G.E.N. community. One day you turn off your computer, only to turn it on and lose everything! Has this, or any other similar experience, happened to any of you? If it has, then this is the topic to discuss it.

Back up your MUGEN if you have a USB Hard Drive.

My hard drive crashed not too long ago, lost my Ms Marvel work and ALL my mugen stuff. luckily I had an older version of my Mugen backed up on a portable HD, and people had warned me to back up my character work on a flash drive. All in all, it took a little work but I finally revovered everything. Lesson is: Even if you don't create stuff, it's a good idea to back up your Mugen stuff periodically.

I almost completely lost everything I did for Doomsday . So I just gave up on the WIP . That was my old computer & that thing was dying . I somehow lost Medieval Spawn's sprites . But I had everything backed up on a 2 gb Flash Drive .

Wolvenom is backed up also .

I learned my lesson after I lost all those Doomsday sprites , along with other things .

that s why i send all my sprites from time to time to my team so no loss problems.

I always back up my stuff (oh... I should back it up again) just in case. I lost one hard days work on Sentry earlier this year because of a crash but it could have been

worse had I not been backing up daily.

Lets see, I have my mugen characters backed up in 2 external HDs, I think some CDs, uh I have mugen characters on my Laptop and all my mugen characters on my old HD

. I doubt I would be losing anything soon. So If I were gonna make a mugen character, I have quite a few options on back ups and backing up the back ups

Both my laptop and desktop got virused. So I was lucky enough to have a 120GB external harddrive!
