Hobgoblin & Joker released !!!!

Ok first of all I would like to thank Acey again for letting me use Green Goblin in the first place . I would also like to thank Scar for helping me with the Hyper portrait problems . I would also like to thank Batzarro for all the palettes . Rbbt also , for the one palette I used of his . Onto other things .

@ JASONTODD Reezy has done something , he made that cyclops for the project & I think it was released at infantry !

@ Lord Vader The scruffy disciple I just have two words for ya ....... 
Just watch some DX vids on youtube !

BTW Sorry , I'm not Loganir & never claimed to be so I can't make a character like wonder woman . Loganir is actually an amazing creator , I'll be the first to admit . Nobody's stuff is on the same level as his . So don't compare me or anyone else to him , Nobody is that good !

@Reezy You did create that Cyclops for the project right ? I'm going to " keep it real " Cyclops big deal you're using capcom's sprites . It takes some degree of talent to actually draw sprites , which is what I did . Oh , BTW if Hobgoblin sucks & you deleted him . I guess you should & tell Acey Green Goblin sucks ! Not my opinion , seems to be yours . That's what Hobgoblin is based off of . 
 
@ Everyone else ..... I stated the whole time in the WIP section Hobgoblin was going to be respriting of Green Goblin . I got permission from Acey to use GG ! Acey had the character on her birthday ! She didn't have any negative comments about him . I think she might have thought he was pretty good .

Does anyone know how to read around here ? All the posts in that WIP thread for the past 2 months  , the read me & def file with the character ! They all state BETA 1.0 ! I just wanted to get him out for Halloween . I didn't have time to add the new moves , helpers & everything I have planned for the character . I busted my tail spriting to get him out the way he is for Halloween . Do you so called " critics " realize this is the first character that I ever made !
No matter what any of you say , I think it's pretty damn good for my first project !!!! 

You know what ? We were trying to be cool by releasing our stuff everywhere so everyone that wants them could get them . You wouldn't have to trade on youtube to get them or sell your soul . From the warm response we get around here . Maybe we should just make stuff private , then you will all have to have it ! Because if it's so called "rare" you'll think it's great ! that's the mentality of the mugen community !

It seems around here if you make something & you are not part of this Infinity or scruffy , your stuff just sucks !Which let me point out the 2 teams pretty much hate each other . well I am not on either team & maybe it's because I'm not good enough to be .

So , what I'm new to this creating thing . Team Spoiler brought me on & gave me a chance ! We are not the " big 2 " & don't care to be !

They didn't like them.

Only 2 people out of 34 people didn't like them. Please again don't lump all of Infinity with the opinions of two people. I mean seriously, how many new creators get over 90% of people telling them "good release", "nice job" on a character you basically had to draw most of, I am not guessing . Will there be haters, OF COURSE, but if you have a overwhelming majority giving you props, should it really matter what 1-2 people say? I mean cause literally, you only have 2 people who don't like it. Don't let those two people spoil both of these releases.

All these people liked them ? I just didn't do what I told everyone else to do . Read the posts . I started at the end & kind of went off the handle . I guess the majority of people liked the characters . Thanx guys !

First of all I dont even know how to create characters in mugen.So I dont know who told you that I created cyclops   I have no idea where you got that from.If I did know how to create a character I would want somebody to keep it real with me and tell me all the bad things about my character so that I could improve him or her.I wouldnt cry like a baby about it.Honest though I dont know how to create characters at all so get your facts correct before you post.
Another thing if you read my post you will see that I said (quoting myself)"I really hope that Hobgoblin is a beta and not a final complete release character" and "hopefully Im wrong though and he replies telling me that its a beta."
now that you saying its a beta its cool cuz he's not complete.next time though when you post,post "Joker and Hobgoblin beta release".You had people all hyped up thinking these was complete characters when they really wasnt.Good luck on fixing him up and Im pretty sure the final version of him will be much better

I'm sorry if I offended you two but I was just stating my honest to God opinion. After playing with Wonder Woman, Thor, Sandman, Green Goblin, etc. I expect comic book characters to be made on the scale of Capcom/Scruffy Dragon/Infinity. The thing is your two characters really aren't at that quality. If you want them to be the quality they are right now then that's great and I can't change that. But if you truly would like to see your creations be outstanding they need to be more than just simple sprite and sound edits and instead whole new characters. They need to be polished and cleaned. It's like a piece of art. The more effort, time, and thought you put into it the better it can be. Frankly, as I have stated before, I can't really see the big hype of the Joker. Like I've said he just doesn't look well against some of the Capcom characters like Batman or Superman. And I don't understand how the Hobgoblin can be called a separate character if he's just a sprite swap of the Green Goblin. The Green Goblin is a great character but the Hob Goblin isn't really a character at all since he's just a sprite edit. Basically, the two characters need to look more professional like the works of Infinity and Scruffy Dragon. And you guys hate Scruffy Dragon but I'm pretty sure you have 1 if not probably more of their characters in your roster. Their characters are just great examples of what custom Mugen characters should be like. Again, if you take offense to this I'm sorry but that's just how I feel. I do agree with you Vader, Scruffy does make some of if not the best quality characters. If you didn't like the characters, sorry we'll get over it. Thing is, you cannot keep comparing us to Scruffy. They have a team full of expert spriters and coders and they (and their wips) have been around for years. Team Spoiler's barely been around, in the couple of months is when the team got hot and started adding new creators. Many of whom have never released a character and are just spriters with a dream. I'm sure we'll improve over time, you can't always hit a home run.

And I don't understand how the Hobgoblin can be called a separate character if he's just a sprite swap of the Green Goblin. The Green Goblin is a great character but the Hob Goblin isn't really a character at all since he's just a sprite edit.

It was stated time and time again, even in the wip thread that the first Hobgoblin release would be a beta v.1.0. DT just wanted to get him out by Halloween because it fits the holiday, an orange Goblin who throws pumpkins who else could you release. In the next release Hobgoblin will have different moves with new sprites. Plus the new Green Goblin by Infinity will probably separate the two even more.

We hear you and we understand. You have differant standards. Personally I dont see why you would diss Hobgoblin, but not Green Goblin. It kinda seems strange but thats okay.

Personally I see a lot missing with Green Goblins look. Out of respect to Acey I wouldnt diss it, but I would offer respectful criticism. I like characters like HBK's Batman, the Mask, Batman Returns, ect. Capcom isnt important to me. I enjoy SNK, and others too. I used to play the hell out of Justice League Task Force. Joker is on that level so its fun for me.

Whatver, nextime you have something bad to say about someone else's work, try not to be a total jurk.
There are ways of pointing out your dislikes and being nice about it.

And yeah, he problably does spend like 20 or 30 minutes a day on what he does, he's been working on it for a while from what i know. And I dont think his face looks like its going to melt. Its the Joker, he's not susposted to look compleatly normal. Its not the capcoms style of sprites that scruffy uses eather, and they arnt scruffy, and not every DC character has to look like it.

Exactly what I was saying too.They think all feedback is suppose to be positive.everybody is entitled to they own opinions.Thats 3 of us now that think these characters are horrible.people should just respect our opinion and try to improve the character for the next release instead of crying about it and saying "if you dont like him dont download him"

If anything though Rice is keeping it real about these two characters.I didnt play with joker but I thought hobgoblin was gonna be a good character(by the way the creator advertised him) and then I download him and see that not only does he looks horrible,he plays horrible.hopefully he'll be fixed up and have more moves for the next release.Like I said before next time make a post called "Joker and Hobgoblin beta release."
