Saw this via Twitter.

"Nintendo have finally released the first image of the highly-sought-after black Nintendo Wii packaging."

What do you guys think of this? Personally, I think it's a decision made too late as many people who look for "flashy" consoles have moved onto to the PS3 and Wii. However, I'm still probably going to buy one because I still have some odd sense of loyalty to Nintendo.

Its hot...but seems kinda pointless now. I know I don't need two wiis, I barely play the one I have. Once they make a purple or pink or navy one they can tweet me but I'm good for now. Plus I like the futuristic white look better than the sleek black look.

Hold on a minute , I could just go online & get a case replacement for mine in any color I want for $50 . Why would I spend $250 on this one ? Oh yeah , the controller is black , also .

WTH I bought the Resident Evil 360 , so ......

My old white one is a special system . I bought it the day it came out . The early model could do some things with ease that the later ones couldn't

So I will never get rid of it . Although , I think I will buy an orange case for it, so it matches my Cube ...

Yeah the orange cube looks dope . I keep it out on my entertainment center just because it looks so cool .

Now that I'm thinking about it . That's it I'm ordering the Orange Wii case next week .

Ummm, I guess we won't be able to see the dark color Wii at night, so thieves won't steal it at midnight(just now I guessed)?

I do not want anyone to be able to see my Nintendo Wii at night when they break in , so I will be purchasing a black wii .

I think since it had lights on it , that it's still a dead giveaway...

That's awesome! I heard that some people buy consoles with different color for interior design (or something fashion?).

I looked upon the internet about black wii, and the black version of wii will be limited edition, so some people just buy it and keep it till it gets more expensive in the future...

There was Batman 360 that supposedly came out awhile back . I was p*ssed that I didn't get one . Evere since then I have been buying the " limited " edition systems . Believe me I am getting this Wii

Its funny how Nintendo can always be on top of the game and still win I mean they made 3 next gen consoles (N64, Gamecude and Wii) with out a DVD player and still stayed in the game but Sega made a console without a DVD player and lost, how sad.

But it does look nice though but I would just buy a case instead of buying a whole new console at least that is what my Cousin did it even came with a cover for the Wii remote.

I think the Dreamcast was a great system at the time . Sega just totally dropped the ball with the launch , releases & the marketing . Epic fail with the Saturn & the 32x before Dreamcast made it tough for Sega .They had too many blunders that to hang in the game .
