Tips, his arm needs more shading and you should sprite the thing on his knees custom cause his legs are at an angle and the knee things are straight

You're starting out great with this wip here. As mentioned before, you'll want to make sure he looks good and clean, but we all need to recognize that this is your first character and he looks great so far. Keep up the good work.

i say for an attack kabals (MK) speed dash move that makes the opponent spin around could work. you should definitely have an attack that has mind games to it like a teleport dash attack meaning he dash forward then he moves so fast that he disappears then reappears doing an attack kind of like Rock from cvs2 but have it where u press a button and depending on what you press you end up where you started which would be the fake one or you end up in front of wherever your opponent is or you end up behind wherever your opponent is. you could use a punch attack for whenever you do the attack that makes you appear in front and maybe a back elbow (meaning you are facing forward but you are doing an elbow behind the opposite way) whenever you do the attack that makes you appear from behind

Looks great so far.  Just take our time and get it done right to your liking.  You don't know how many times I had to go back and re-do stuff, with my first wip Metalman, while I was learning.    :)

I agree with Laspacho . Quickman looks good . Sometimes when you are creating , you have to go back & redo all the sprites . With Hobgoblin I must have went back & changed the sprite look 10 times ( I can release variants ). Medieval Spawn I changed a few times to get the right look . Wolvenom I haven't went back & redid anything yet . So I think it all comes more naturally as you create &  improve skills . Practice makes perfect . 

Take your time , change things as you see fit when you get to that crossroad .

Just continue working on him & don't try to rush anything , since he is your first character :thumbsup:

I may sound a little repetitious here , But I think you misunderstood .

I didn't mean redo stuff now either . I worked on Hobs for about a month , then one day I just decided to get rid of the black outline on the sprites I had done . Then he just kept changing as I did a new sprite & it looked better than the last ones I did . I am still still changing things , even  a year later .

Like I said , take your time on him . He's your first character & one day you'll make one sprite that you think looks different than the rest . If it looks better in your opinion . Then it will be time to go back & redo every other sprite for the " new look . "

It's always tough for the first character you make . I almost guarantee as you get a knack for this , the last 20 or so sprites you make may look different than your beginning ones . That's when you hit the crossroad to change things if you choose .

Hang in there & don't give up , no matter how frustrating it can be at times . We've all hit walls before . Usually someone here will help you climb it , with some advice or a fix .

Your doing good man, sorry I went AFK on MSN but i was going to answer your question for you. It looks like it's your transparency thats set to the wrong color, and it thinks that Quickman's black trim is the transparecy color.



Your transparency color should always be the bottom right, very last color on your pallette. Make sure it's pink like your sprite BG and not black. Go to your Edit pallette option and select the exchange selected color icon (1) and substitute it for your pink BG color (2)
