first u need to add a helper state
it can be anything you want, heres an example:
[State 0, Helper]
type = Helper
trigger1 = (activated the helper when ever u want)
helpertype = normal
name = ( be sure to make the name in quotations "__"
ID = (the id number u want for the helper to see in the debug)
stateno = ( stateno of the helper)
pos = 0,0 ( position o th helper)
postype = p1 ( can be set to left, back and p2, which means from where u want the helepr to be positioned at)

for the helper stateno, just add a state coding like any other statedef, then add a hitdef explodes and what ever u want, but instead of a changestate in the end of the coding, add a *destroy self* and make the trigger what ever u want to make th helper disappear.

thanks, ill try, but what about the command what if I want it to attack with a special command?

also, what is the ID, im just learning how to code

just make the id the same number as the helper state def.

and to do that, put the helper state, not the state def, under statdef-2

and rename it
[State -2, Helper]

then for a trigger, if u want to make it for a command, jsut put
triggerall = command = "___"&& NumHelper(1000) = 0

for the "___" just put the command u want for it, be sure its in the cmd file tho.

There are some types, like:

normal - like the name says, its a normal one
player - indicates that the camera will follow him and it can read commands from the .cmd
PROJECTILE - Yeah, its a hidden type. This must be used for projectile-like helpers.

You code it like a normal char.

If you have Fighter Factory, there is a wizard to add helpers

on the CNS section, at the left side, there is a state list. Its the button on its side, its a scroll list

ok, it didn't work, I put my command and hitdef for the stateno and nothing happened when I tried it out on MUGEN, also how do you add sound
