I went looking for a batcave back ground (still havent found one) and came across this guy making a profit of your work!

Now to some who are too lazy to collect the files or the pack themselves I can see them paying but, isnt it a crime to profit off of others work?

I doubt this guy is related to the creators of this game. I suggest you make a sting, collect his email info, hell pay for the game as regular joe, and then you can have all the evidence you need to make sure he can't just spring up somewhere else!

This is just despicable. [synonyms see contemptible].

Oh and as a favor to me could someone please email or send me a link to get any or all the batman batcave bkgrs, kinda looking for the classic cave with giant coin etc. but others will do thanks.

This goes beyond despicable/contemptable: This is downright illegal. MUGEN is FREEWARE----anyone and everyone can download it for ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' FREE. To put this up on any website and have people pay for it is just stupid, illegal and disrespectful for those who put all the hard work into it only to watch someone else take all the credit.

Like once DT said, it can`t be helped, you can`t do anything other than hope the creator`s (CAPCOM for example) take notice and shut em down.

The creator`s can`t sue or do anything for something that originally doesn`t belong to them, unfortunately all you can do is alert people and hope for the best. If you have alerted people that MUGEN is free and redirect them, then you`ve done your part.

i found out about this guy about a year ago.... there was a post about it over at SD.... because most of the characters there are their work.

nothing can be done about it at all.....

it sux but oh well.

Exactly, absolutely nothing can be done about this....this sort of thing goes on all the time. Just deal with it and move on. Also this should be in the mugen discussion section or even just tossed as this thread is really unnecessary.

Here we go with this again. This topic seems to come up every 6 months or so here.

The fact of the matter is this. My Hobgoblin is in that screen pack. I worked a lot of hours upon hours on that character & released him for all of you. But I am not going to get all stressed out that someone is making money off my & other's hard work. It kind of goes with the territory. If you put something on the net, it is bound to be compiled & possibly sold.

Believe me, this guy is not making millions of dollars from selling mugen. Even if he is, hey more power to him. I mean $10 is really a pretty cheap price for what he has compiled. If he has that many people purchasing this off him, The guy has a good thing. The economy is tough right now & if this guy is just trying to get by & make some cash by selling mugen, instead of robbing someone on the street at gunpoint, I can't blame him.

Now, I am not condoning any creator to start selling their stuff to the " fans. " But again, what other people do on the internet that I have no control over is not going to stress me out. I have a good life, & a decent job. I just do all this mugen stuff for fun!

Just be thankful that all of you know how to get mugen & everything that goes with it for free.
