Well, here it is, my very first WIP. Ms Marvel is one of my top 3 favorite Marvel characters (with Spider-man and Deadpool) and the only one not in Mugen yet, so rather then wait around for someone to make her, I'm taking matters into my own hands now that I'm done with night school and actually have free time again. So whattaya think?

Newest video showing her completed basic attacks (and a mean aerial rave) and the beginnings of her get hits. There's a lot less stick figuring in this one and she doesn't say the same thing over and over quite so many times.

Yeah the base is hard to figure out ? I'm pretty sure Rogue is in there somewhere .

I think the base is rogue, but if anything, he made it pretty damn original looking, love it. hopefully he can draw an original small portrait that's not a cut-out of a sprite

I don't mind the cut out of sprites for small portraits . You know how hard it is to sprite those small portraits ? I know , I did it for Hobgoblin . That was the hardest one to sprite out of all of them .

I think a custom small portrait can really make a character stand out, so I very quickly whipped one up for you to give you an example of something you can do.

All I did was get a picture of Ms Marvel, crop and resize it then neaten everything up.

Now was you can see it still needs work, especially with the hair as it was only a quick demonstration.

And she's looking very nice so far. Can't wait to see more

i don t think a custom small portrait is so important but the one you just made is amazing.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've seen about 3 WIPs of her mysteriously vanish, so I'm gonna try my best to make sure this one gets done.

As for the small portrait, yeah that was just a placeholder until I do a real one. I just didn't like seeing the empty box. Dead-X's technique is a great idea, so I'll probably try something like that when I get burnt out on spriting. Well, time to get back to work.

If your taking suggestions for moves, a hyper where she turns into binary would be nice, and since she can absorb energy, a move to absorb projectiles would make her pretty unique (if its possible, i dunno)

The absorbing energy move isn't too hard. A hitoverride could do it, maybe even with a var to measure how long the energy effect will last. Anyways, I hope you make her close to her comic persona.

im guessing your using Rogue as the base? thats a nice edit of Rogue's hyper portrait. also, dont forget to add the lipstick on her hyper portrait image, this one:
