Fix the left leg on both sprites, Scarlet and Polaris, because is too fat compared to the right legs ???

get ready guys major updates...

Her stance with new face

Her light punch

Her combo light punch

And Last but not least her new hair...  I didn't have time to add them to the above animations but be assured that her new hair will be added to all sprites

I'm just curious as to how the stance will transition to the attacks? She's flying then she's suddenly on the ground. I think you might need to add a few more transition frames.

Also be careful with the palette. It seems to change on her light punch, and make sure that the colours go from darkest to lightest. The lighter blue surrounds the dark blue which looks odd.

I do like the new face and the stance is a nice one, just needs the shading change to make her look less flat!

So you mean by transitation frame like have her land before she hits right?  I think I can muster something up..  What do you think about the new hair does it look any better?

Exactly what I meant! It will make the attacks flow much better

It looks much more original and less flat than before. Just remember that her hair should not stick together when she attacks so give her hair some stray ends to make it seem more real

Her stance with new face

This is what I was talking about when you PMed me. Look at how her entire backside looks like it is blowing up like a balloon. It's moving with the hair. You just tried to put in way to much movement, & it's not necessary.

Edit: What makes it look really odd is that the leg band & ankle band do not move at all.

it's  funny you mentioned that, because when I was still working on her I was going to make a intro with that in mine.  blade (don't know if that's his real name) from warzard/red earth.  the first boss before the wizard would be the perfect base.  kong has the sprites or character as open source I think but if you look around this forum or search this forum for kong you find his sprites or char for warzard and the char's name is blade.  Hope that helps

erm actually it's not considering her left leg is facein the screen and her right is farther away..  Also the legs take from polaris and scarlet witch were from a video game character that was released in arcades :)

looking good man.  also about the leg if you really wanted to you could seperate some of the thigh make it part of the butt, meaning make a clear distinction between the butt and the thigh.  like put a crease or demple idk.  but anyway looking good

It is not natural for someones leg to just " get plumper " from that little bit of movement. Her right leg just looks like it is breathing

I agree her left leg does appear to get larger especially around the thigh area.

um... actually both are moving only on polaris's right is moving alot more, right does go up and down.

To fix I suggest less chess movement. Just focus on shoulder-arms and face. If it becomes too much of a problem use Rogue's jacket to cover.

Can't wait to see some nice hyper, supers, and flash combos.
