If i left any other video game into movies that was bad just let me know or vote for that movie.I think street fighter was the worse out of these movies.let me know what yall think

I voted Mario, but Double Dragon was worse. They filmed the river, and Club scenes in Cleveland. The Club scenes were at the Metropolis Night club in the Flats. My girlfriend at the time was there on a filming night, she said almost no one cared about them even being there.

That one Something Dark Movie with Christian Slater was pretty lousy too.

Super Mario was the worst thing ever made..."King Koopa" was not even bowser...and since when Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo are italian?
Bad Cast,bad plot(There was Daisy instead of princess peach)...bad movie...
SF The movie was not THAT bad...i kinda enjoyed it first time i watched it...

Yeah, the changes in Super Mario was brutal. As someone involved in Comic Books, I all too well know the liberties movies take with the characters. Video game movies are becoming just as bad.

Street Fighter actually had more quality than the Mario movie. The Mario movie just didn't make sense.

SAY WHAT!!?? I just loved the Mario Bros movie!

Street Fighter did suck hard. The only good thing about it were Ryu and Ken's character scripts. Van Damme just killed Guile's character.

Um super mario was quite bad - I think it was only made cause of the hype that the games caused. Street Fighter was lame cause they changed pretty much everything when sf2 actually had a fairly decent storyline.

double dragon is funny cause again its nothing like the games.

i have it on dvd!

I think video game based movies are considered bad when they have nothing to do with the source material

or they are made because the game is popular not because it would be a good movie.

Spirits within is actually a good movie if you sit back and understand the story.

I don't see why it shouldn't be named final fantasy though, each final fantasy game didn't really follow a trend and all had different setting IMO except X and X2 for the ps2.

I think many were expecting to see it based off of a game that was already available but Spirits Within, to me, was probably ahead of its time.

Nothing in spirits within reminded me of Final Fantasy.

No bahamut, no summons of any kind. No chocobos. No magic sorcerers and such. It just felt like another film with Guns and ghosts monsters. Where as Advent Children not only had the characters, FFVIIAC also had Bahamut, they had a reference to chocobos, they had a moogle doll which is an obvious reference to the FF games. I'm rather glad that all the characters died in the end of Spirits Within.

I'd have to say though the worst movie I saw was SMB. I mean come on. Yoshi just a miniature T-Rex.

My 2 fav's are Silent Hill and MK.
I know why the reason Pyramid Head looked different in the movie. Apparenlty everybody sees Pyramid head differently. In Silent Hill Origins, he appears as a butcher that instead of a sword, has a butcher knife and instead of a pyramid for a head, he has a normal skinhead, but he has a pyramid looking mask to cover his face.

Actually Mortal kombat Annihilation wasnt really a bad movie.If I remember it also stayed true to the game

Spirits Within was a Beautiful Movie. I mean It looked incredible too bad they had to ruin it with that Voice acting and a "plot". It was missing so much we expect from Final Fantasy. Not just swords and magic, but the melodramatic and flamboyant characters that make these games great. Now Advent Children was a Final Fantasy Movie. That said...
The Super Mario Bros. Movie was the worst movie adaptation I've ever seen. I love Nintendo and Mario, that garbage was neither. It seriously did to Mario what Philips did to Zelda.
