Just got 2 simple questions for the comics fanatics (= lol I meant those who know what they're talking about) :
- Is the difference of size when it transforms into Cap Mar during the intro is 'normal' ?
- The same story goes for the char itself.... It seems 'too' big, is it supposed to be ?

If memory serves (and I'm no expert on the character) while Mar Vell is an alien, he's no bigger than the average human. I didn't notice any size problems with the character though.

this size problem is going to be be "repaired" soon. i mentioned this one in my feedback.

Well, during the transformation, that's not actually him. Here's the story (taken from Wikipedia):

Mar-Vell eventually finds himself trapped in the Negative Zone. The Kree Supreme Intelligence secretly enables Mar-Vell to telepathically contact Rick Jones, a youth who had previously been a companion to the Hulk, Captain America, and the original Avengers. Jones is lured to a hidden and abandoned Kree base on Earth, where he puts a pair of "nega-bands" around his wrists. After slamming the bands together, Mar-Vell and Jones trade places: Mar-Vell arrives on Earth while Jones, surrounded by a protective aura, is transported to the Negative Zone.[8] As long as they wear the bands, Mar-Vell and Jones are in telepathic contact. Mar-Vell can only remain on Earth for brief periods of time; if he stays more than three hours, he and Jones switch places automatically.

AWESOME JOB!! I like him far better now. He just feels good to play with. Very well put together, and nice controls. Kinda makes me wish Superman by Hannibal/Kal-Elvis and Friends felt this good. Anyway, He's GREAT!! Keep up the good work.  =D>

meh, it's just that the DCvM characters have a "tighter" feel to them than the EOH guys. I too prefer the "looser" play style of the EOH characters, but with a little getting used to, guys like superman feel nice to play as well.

done testing him. he doesnt have an infinite per se but he does an extreme amount of dame with two easily connected hypers. i can do vid if you want

just a quick question..will he be updated with different moves? or will genis vell be updated to have different moves? because they seem to be completely identical.. really good job on the sprites though  :thumbsup:

I've been using him alot lately, I like him alot.  He's my favorite character in this release party so far.  Very nice work on the sprites.  :thumbsup:

they bothe have similar move sets but they don't play the same or do things in the same way except for minor stuff tho.
i'm currently making some more updates and adjustments to Captain Mar-Vell.
as for genis-vell acey will be the one updating/working on genis-vell.

his air block is the same as his standing one. also, I put him in watch mode against genis vel, and he was doing this crazy twitchign thing that was allowing him to walk and jump forward while blocking. it was weird man.

sprites are acey's thing, i haven't seen that twitch before but i'll check it out.

It's ok, he likes you though and he'll continue to save our planet (dead version) or put it in jeopardy (skull agent version)

Commentary: Urien is an overused base, but I still used him first while everyone else was still using Iceman. So I lose no sleep over it. Wanna know what's worse, I used Gill originally... oh the time wasted when I could have used Urien in the first place.

Thank you guys ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^....
Mar-Vell is the hero i grow up with and to say the truth no other character ever took his place.
For me, is a dream come true that i can finaly play on mugen with him, and all this thanks to both of you putting the time and the efford.....
Thank you also for Genis, also a great character.
Pity that Marvel killed them both or turned them to Skrulls and stuff... ???
