Captain Mar-Vell
Sprites by Acey
Programming by Acey & Iron Fist

As soon as Captain Marvel (Genis-Vell) was released in early 2008 I had planned to make his father, Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell), as well. After continually getting bumped back to help friends with their mugen creations I finally found the time to sit down and make the changes necessary to complete the sprite set. After adding these new sprites to the code of the originally release Captain Marvel (Genis-Vell), I asked Iron Fist to go through the character and adjust the moves and attacks to make him feel more like a different character. In addition to the code changes Iron Fist also animated the stance to help top off this character. I hope you all enjoy him.

I really do like it!

In fact, I like the whole Bengus-inspired sprite style in general (otherwise known as SFA/MvC style).

okay, time to feedback

1. my main complaint is that every urien sprites have not been resized enough (that s a surprise because in sentry you did an excellent job.)
2. the second complaint is that his ai needs to be stronger because he is supposed to beat sentry.
3. the jump forward isn t effective.
SO it s a great character with a little things to change, nothing difficult for you.

I wish I would have known he was being released . I would have took off work today

Seriously though , this is the Captain Mar-vell I remember . So I am happy to have this one .

Excellent intro where he transforms .

GREAT RELEASE!

He looks really good, an excellent addition to the roster.

It's good people are posting feedbacks, this way you can release a fix as soon as possible, plus it would be perfect till the next release of EoH.

This character is Marvellous! He is probably tied for first for my favorite EOH character. Extremely well done Acey. Thanks a lot for all your hard work and making all your great creations available to us. I do agree that his AI could be a little stronger though. Other than that...

I found out that the best way to play mugen is to spend 3 years on some project, then afterwords start collecting all those released mugen characters, in that 3 years everything that was released previously will have gone through all the updates and releases and you'll have saved yourself a lot of updating.
