Donald Duck
Based on Warner's version of the duck
A few years ago, in 2020, I commissioned a Donald Duck to Warner Cortez to help him financially through the COVID crisis the world was suffering. I was very satisfied with the initial result, and I helped Warner a bit by fixing some technical issues in its initial release.
Now, in 2024, wanting to celebrate the duck's 90th anniversary and do something inspired by the duck before the year ends, I decided to do a massive update on my own when I saw that Warner was inactive. If Warner is reading this, I recommend you check out my chat and add the edits in future duck updates.

Hace unos años, en el lejano 2020, comisione al Pato Donald a Warner Cortez para ayudarlo economicamente en la crisis que el mundo sufría durante la pandemia del Covid, saliendo bien satisfecho con el resultado inicial y ayudando a Warner un poco arreglando algunos problemas técnicos en su lanzamiento inicial.
Ahora, en 2024, queriendo celebrar el 90 aniversario del pato por todo lo alto antes de que se termine, decidí hacer una actualización masiva por mi cuenta al ver que Warner estaba inactivo. Si Warner esta leyendo esto, le recomiendo que vea mi char y añada los edits en futuras actualizaciones del pato.

1.001 update:
Fixed palettes and a sound from english voicepack.
Gameplay changes:
- Run back doesn't hop anymore, instead going fully straight.//Cuando corres hacia atrás ya no hace un salto, sino que se mueve con mas naturalidad.
- Regular attacks now easier to combo with each other. // Es mas facil hacer combos con los ataques normales
- Now with European Spanish voicepack // Castellano y latino
- Added English Voicepack// Ahora hay un pack de voz en ingles
- Added a grab where Donald hits the opponent in a ball of violence// Añadido un ataque de agarre en donde Donald arrastra al oponente a una bola violenta

- Crouch medium punch now has a variant depending of the opponent's distance from Donald// El puñetazo bajo medio ahora tiene dos variantes dependiendo de que tan lejos este el oponente
-Reworked the baseball bat special:
-- Now you can hit your opponent regulary. Attempting to spam the baseball Will result in the carácter falling down again. // Ahora puedes atacar después de golpear a tu oponente. Intentar abusar de este especial mas de una vez resultara en el oponente cayendo al suelo para evitar infinitos.
-- If the opponent is in the air, instead of being dizzy, Donald Will do a homerun with their body, launching them away// Si el oponente esta en el aire, Donald hará un homerun con su cuerpo, lanzándolos bien lejos.
- Reworked Canvas Back Duck Hyper and Tantrum special. //Rehecho algunas cosas de Mano de piedra y su berrinche
- Zettaflare is now a 3000 hyper and does around 500 damage. Is his most powerful too and deals guard damage. //Zettaflare ahora gasta 3000 de poder y hace alrededor de 500 de daño. Es su ataque mas poderoso y ahora hace un considerable daño si es bloqueado
- Firecracker heavy crouch punch normal now deals guard damage//El ataque normal con el petardo ahora hace daño si es bloqueado.
- 2 New hypers, those being: Donald's rage and Donald's cinematic rage. Inspired by Homer and Iori, with the lvl 1 being similar and the level 2 being more powerfull and ending up in a big punch that launches the opponent far away.// 2 Nuevos hypers, uno siendo La furia de Donald y la Furia cinematica de Donald. Inspirados por el Sr Simpson e Iori, la furia de Donald es de nivel 1 y es básicamente un tributo mientras que el 2 es mas poderoso y termina con un gran puñetazo que lanza al oponente bien lejos.

- Main palette is now the one with black bow and White stripes, as most of his threatical appearances during the Golden age of animation was this outfit// La paleta principal ahora es con lazo negro y rayas blancas, como salía en sus cortos de la era de oro de la animación.

- Added new winpose of Donald showcasing a Trophy// Nueva pose de victoria en donde se saca un trofeo.

- Reworked Winquotes with more fitting Donald Duck references // Rehechas las frases de victoria con referencias mas propias del pato.
- Fatality compatibility with upgraded The Black Heart chars //Compatibilidad con los fatalities de los chars de Black

- Added compatibility with the rest of MK fatalities//Añadidas el resto de compatibilidades de fatalities de Mortal Kombat.
- New hyper background, inspired by his threatical intro// Nuevo fondo para los hypers, inspirado en el intro de sus cortos
- New winquote portrait // Nueva imagen para la foto de victoria
- Reworked Roger and Joe's special laughing intro to be a regular intro. Donald is the type of underestimating his opponents and focusing on only those two was pretty limiting anyway.// La intro en donde se rie de Joe y Roger ahora es un intro regular. El pato Donald es de esos oponentes que tienden a subestimar a sus oponentes y limitarlos solo a Roger y Joe me parece poco.
- Revamp of sprites focusing on tongue and remade the kingdom hearts hat to match his regular colors.// Rehecho los sprites enfocados en la lengua y el gorro de kingdom hearts para que sea similar al color de su gorro normal.
- Added new compatibility with Pharaoh’s curse/RetroMutagen and Next Meme! // Añadidas nuevas compatibilidades
