Cant wait to see the entire Teen Titans team complete.

Also a question: Will you be editing Boy Wonders standing sprites. They still look beta-ish, I figure you could get rid of the sliding foot and just have him breath like gambit and maybe add a variable stance much like GGX to give him some detail.

Personally I wouldnt listen to the people whining about the stance. People gripe about everything. I really want to improve what was done already before adding anything else. I think the sprites in the twirl that were all messed up was part of the gripe, and Ive fixed those.

I was not really happy with the beta being released at all, and if you keep adding stuff to Robin I wont be able to get a solid working one out anytime soon.

I like it a lot, but the problem I see here is that it's not going to match the rest of the sprites at all. Jason if you want to put the effort into editing all the legs to match the stance I say go for it. Keep in mind you may need to frankensprite a lot of them, because those dont look like Hayatos legs. Personally I still like Excursions stance, and wouldnt let a few jealous trolls delay the project another 6 months.

I think I may just complete the old Robin with the current stuff, and you can always realease this version down the road.

The boots on JT's sprites change size depending on the source of the base sprite already. When the base is spider-man the boots are the same as I just did them, when it's Hayato they tend to be thicker but the switch between the two is somewhat minor.

Either way, there sprites are available for JT is he wants. I had enough fun making them in the first palce.

I'll take a look again Acey, but what I looked at was the stance to walk. The stance seemed taller, and the walk looked like the legs were shorter, and stubbier with the boots looking much thicker.

However I didnt think Excursions stance looked right at 1st either, and it grew on me, so this deserves a second look.

Yes that is a perfect stance for robin. Jus slow it down and it will suffice ;)

Okay the taller deal might be my own mind taking into account other things. But I think it looks a little odd going from Spidey thin legs to the bulkier hayato ones that are pretty plain on most of the sprites.

Again I'll look at it again after work, but I try to think like Batzarro when I judge these things because he's an anal detail guy, and I think he would want the sprites to match a little more if this were his WIP. I know if I were to thin out Harley's hips even more, he would want it done all throughout the character.

I get where you are going with this

It's like putting my harley stance in with the rest of zarro's sprites . It just won't look right . The Robin with spidey legs is the same scenario .

I still didn't have a problem with Excursion's . I thought Robin twirling the stick over his head was amazing .  :-??

Exactly, now do I wish Robin looked like Acey through out the character, sure. It would also distance itself from Seths old sprite we based it on.

However Acey feels the change is minor, so it certainley deserves a 2nd look. I think the main thing that really looked odd was the detail to plain legs.

No I did notice, but put it in gameplay, and its hardly noticable. The differance is the stance just stands there, while that frame doesnt last a second. This example is a little differant than the stance. Some of the sprites still have Hayato's knee pads on. its hardly noticable with excursions stance, but with this one they stick out too much in my opinion.

OK so that's all I wanted to hear . The Excursion bo stick twirl will stay . That was most impressive to me when Ex made that .

Now onto the new stance .....

I still have to agree that the legs won't match .  Can't you use different legs than spiderman's ? I seen you draw those animations in the Batman vid . Since you are toying around with Robin , can't you just redraw the stance ? This way he will have the right size legs .

btw, just to be clear, they weren't spider-man legs, I just drew them. But for conversations sake we can call it Spider-man legs and hayato legs.
