okay everyone gave way too much time and energy on who a man or woman in games just kidding!! but yeah i think its another lazy cop out for a boss once again. but let's us still enjoy the game when it hits stateside and and hope for some fresh faces in the 14th chapter. rock should have made his kof debut by now!! how did tizoc (you know, that roided up tucan sam looking wrestler ) made it before the son of geese ??  love playing as tizoc/ the griffon , but wtf?!!neo geo battle colloseum should have knocked into their heads that it was a perfect time for him to be in kof. but thats my opinion. bring him with a new motw squad . give  us something new for once snk instead of everyone making barnfires for supers just kidding !!

They didn't put him in because 1. in the KOF universe Rock is still a kid and 2. SNK said that they are saving him for the next Fatal Fury instalment. But thats probably never happening.

And how did Mukai wind up coming back? Hell, Mukai would've made a much better boss than a possessed Ash.

They didn't put him in because 1. in the KOF universe Rock is still a kid and 2. SNK said that they are saving him for the next Fatal Fury instalment. But thats probably never happening.

hmm interestin... hell if hes a kid at that time then how old? hell hey still pack a punch!
As for the next Fatal Fury...Hmmmm that would be REALLY somethin if SNK pulled that out of the hat

thats groovey. well dunno how far KOF will go but if this Next Fatal fury has em older i guess maybe theres a chance we will see em in a future KOF. dunno i guess ..

anyway a new Fatal Fury game sounds great anyway. been a while. plus the animations in SNK stepped up again so it should be somethin to see if it does happen

sakai (dark ash) is ash's ancestor which looks exactly like ash.
this version of sakai is supposed to be mukai possessed by sakai, at the end ash will die in the process of erasing sakai from history, he will not exactly die but he will cease to exist, you know as if he was never there.

is this official?? wtf?? red ash came out of nowhere already, then an ancestor time travels, possesses mukai (double wtf) and then ash out of all people kills him?? so after all ash was indeed the good guy?? sacrificed his existence to save the world?? ... god damn.. ive heard lame stories b4...

also lame how the second form looks way weaker than the first AND is just a pallete swap of ash with a shin lvl2 afterimage...

sure we wanted a story and a final boss but this is too much and im doing my best to be tolerant with the whole sex-less naked demon with the gay pose

I am a bit out of the loop since the last KOF game I've played was XI but in that one Benimaru and Duo Lon are Elisabeth's partners. Of course I am aware of the fact that they switch up members of teams all the time so by the time 2010 rolled around it probably changed.

Saiki is the master of Those From the Past, he was absorbing Orochi power so he could open that Time gate to change history, and he ordered Ash to collect the three sacred treasures, but Ash was doing so just to approach him, he never wanted to help him because he feared Elizabeth would cease to exist if time was changed. Saiki never possesses Mukai, he just kill him because he wanted to fight the winners of the tournament, disobeying his direct order to stay at the gate to keep it open. Ash backstabs him and gets possessed by him, but after being defeated he uses his last energies to stop Saiki, who dies, thus creating a time paradox that makes Ash to cease to exist since he was a direct descendant of Saiki. He never did this for the world's sake, but for his own pride.

sakai has the ability to posses his enemies, he drained mukai's power and turned to this form of dark sakai, the final form is just ash possessed by sakai, i think they just wanted to kill ash one way or another..
also i've heard that iori98 is in the home version of the game.
