Help me My Orginal Xbox has coma console.

So yeah, My Orginal Xbox will turn on, but won't boot. It's 1.4. And I wanted to know if there was a way to fix it.

It's modded, but I forget how. (I belive it's soft modded, but I cannot remember.) Any and ALL help would be very much appreciated. (I have another Xbox, so If anyone can tell me how to get the data out without turning on my Xbox would also be helpful).

Buy a 360, it seems the life of an old Xbox console isn't as long as any nintendo system. Think of it more like a computer than a game console and it will make more sense. I just recently thew out 2 dead Xboxes.

Sounds like your operating system or hard drive may be wacked. If it's the operating system, there is a disc you can download & if you start up the Xbox with the disc in the drive it will automatically start loading the operating system. Don't ask me where to get that disc. My mod guy will not tell me....

If it's your hard drive, then it's a whole other story. Xbox hard drives are locked to have a certain code that the Xbox recognizes. If you install a new hard drive, you have to unlock that old one & get that code & get it onto the new drive. Sounds like it may be easier for you to buy a new Xbox if this is the case.

I'm sorry to hear that but it's to be expected, my old xbox would load the games but then

they would all freeze for no reason not just used games i owned but brand new games as well.
