Man oh man I've been waiting for this; a new and brutal next gen mk. The combos look sick, the characters they've shown already have awesome moves, and the tag-team looks killer.

btw, is Ed Boon working on this? I thought he was out of the picture once WB bought Midway.

Ed Boon didn't go anywhere. He leads the MK team. Judging from this teaser... I'd say Midway going under was the best thing that could have happened to MK and the MK team. Now they'll have better resources, better funding.. and more importantly the time they need to make quality MK games. Rather than being forced to push unfinished or poor quality work out the door to meet Midway's deadlines.

I'm thinking this game will be the turning point for MK. Can't wait to see more.

This is true. I used to intern for midway a few years back and there studio was small. due to it being small and finances some times games got rushed. Now they got the same studio but more funding thus more time, and better resources. Now with the ability to put more time into this game you can believe its going to be good. they put at least two years into this game.

I wish i still had contacts at midway.

Edit: do yall read any of the articles that are posted with these trailers? Ed Boon is heading the project. Its been known since the sale of midway that he would remain the head of the mortal kombat project.

Boons been ID on the psn network recently. People speculate that he's probably testing the new Mk.

Here's an interview with Ed Boon.

Apparently WB is giving Ed and his team as much time as they need to make this game.

This is actually good because MKvsDC was rushed.

Also DLC confirmed for fatalities, costumes, characters and stages

A KaF wold be kool if it were a casual fighter but this looks like its the first MK to take cues From street fighter (ex moves, super meter, tightened normals and talk of Balance) So Im not sure how this would effect the competetive credibility of the game as SC3 and 4 and MK armageddon are all games with C-A-F modes but none of these games are taken seriously.
