-I tried making him turn when back is held down, but p1 turns.  p2 doesn't, and will also fly to the same direction as if he was facing forward, and yes, I tried using the same variable to make the victim turn in state 820 and make the velocity change in state 1126, but nothing still, so for now he can only throw straight.
-Make an AI
-Somehow fix the commands to that he can Super Jump by pressing 3 kick buttons in addition to the Down/Up motion
-Anything else that will be reported
-More specials and supers, particularly those of other characters

Why did I do this?

Well, since Kingpin is a Marvel character, I decided to make him into this bastardized version of everyone except Koopakoot's favorite fighting style.

Why "Anything-But-MvC"?
--------------------------------------
Because it isn't totally accurate to any of the VS series games, yet retains some of their features.

What did I do?

-Gave him 6 button gameplay since he was originally 4 button
-MvC gimmicks such as air rave, super jump, guard push, among others
-MvC2 and some CvS/MB/whatever effects.  LOL EFFECT INCONSISTENCY
-Tried implementing IMT's tag team system.  Might get around to tweaking it.
-That's about it, really.

Shoots a short burst of laser from his cane.  Stronger versions are longer and hit more times.  YES I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE SEPERATED THE LASER FROM HIS CANE SHUT UP IM LAZY ALLCAPS IS FUNNY

Sleeping Gas - D/F/Punch

Sprays gas at the opponent to stun them.  If in the air, they just fall as if they were tripped.  Weak shoots the gas diagonally down, medium shoots straight, and hard shoots diagonally up.

Summons a gunman to shoot 25 bullets at you.  Hit Kingpin and he flies away.  Hit the gunman and he flies away.  After the gunman does his job, Kingpin is left vulnerable for about 45 ticks, and takes a good 15 to start.

The only thing I did with Hinjo was screw up his SND and portraits.  This on the other hand has more effort than that put into it.

Oh yeah, sorry about posting it in the wrong section.  I thought it meant anyone on IMT, not just staff...  :S

This guy is actually pretty good. He just needs 1-3 more hypers, and 2-4 more special attacks, and he'll be a complete character. I like the henchman with a gun hyper too, it's suiting for the Kingpin. Thanks for releasing him, and I can't wait for some updates.  :thumbsup:

Just tried it.  I have to say that even with my limited exp with mugen, its a solid character with good spriting (though I'm nowhere near as others in debugging that stuff).  My largest gripe with some characters though is their screen size.  I absolutely understand authenticity, but i feel that game play sometimes suffers if the character takes up huge chunks of the screen.  That aside, I agree with the few more moves, few more supers, and it'll fill out a complete character.

Well there isn't a whole much I can do with him right now, so as he sits he's done.  I know that Kingpin is capable of much more than just using his cane (supposedly he knows martial arts and has a plethora of gadgets), but I just edited him to the best of my capabilities and what I could work with.

Umm, I'm kinda lost at this vision part...  /:O  By that do you mean presentation/sprites/etc?  Cause if so, I'm afraid I can't do much more, since my sprite editing abilities are rather poor, and these are ripped from the Punisher arcade game (by Slotman no less).  If I could, I would've.

Well, Kingpin was a rather large character to begin with, so I'm afraid I can't do much regarding his size and being a 'normal' sized character.

No you don' have to make anything Slotman released Vision last November, but he was only announced at Scruffy. He is a Green Marvel character with a cape. Not that many people know that Vision exist for Mugen.


Me and DT were just suggesting if you could do an update to him two, because we were impressed on what you did with the kingpin. It just that slotman doesn't put that much effort in his character at all. Well that my opinion. I mean there good, but it would be nice if he had sound, hyper portrait ect.

Oh, I never knew he made a Vision.  Maybe I'll get around to fixing him, but I'm not one to be able to find voices for him.  Maybe someone else can help me find voices.

1.  Well, Slotman did the spriting and whatever, so there isn't a whole lot I could do here.  AND MC DID THE PALETTES HES YOUR FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND.
2.  I just noticed that when I put him in my regular roster.  I will see what I can do for that.
3.  I understand the concept of punishability, but what I can't put my finger on is how to balance it correctly.  If you don't mind, I'd like some guidelines/suggestions, since after all, I still don't know anything.
4.  Would 'trigger1 != time' work?

I appreciate feedback, as long as it's thorough and not just 'oh hey im posting feedback kthxbai'.

If you find yourself with an attack frame that lasts longer than 5 ticks, split it into two frames.  One with clsn1, one without.
