the reason i dont like that idea is because i go into the video game section just to talk about game related topics it would suck to have to go through shows and all that stuff just to find the thread i want.

I agree. It would become a tedious task to find a topic you want.

The idea of a mass media child board would be interesting(puts together TV,Movies,anime and cartoons)

I'm with Nutty on this one. If a Media section is opened up, I say leave video games out of it. This is a gaming forum, after all, so I'd prefer to see game discussions left somewhere that's easy to get to.

no no no.. you misunderstood me... I meant like if you've been to my forum before.. I had it set up where there was just another board named 'Multimedia', and then the child boards were TV, Music, Movies, Anime & Manga, and Video Games... All you would have to click on is Multimedia and then like.. Tv OR Music...

I'm saying that that wouldn't be a bad idea... Maybe put it right after general discussion.

You won't have to go through that. Just look at the graphic arts section to see how child board's are set up. The topics in other boards won't be scrambled.

I vote yes. Anime, manga, cartoons, comics, all that good stuff. And this way the manga/anime topics dont get bumped over other stuff and vice versa.
