At our website where we try to serve as an e-zine to the readers for all things Marvel & DC Mugen, I recently started a new discussion series of articles delving into the idea of potential new characters that would be cool if they were in Mugen.

The first in this series revolves around characters that would be instant Marvel/DC Mugen favorites if they were created. History of the character is discussed, some Mugen ideas for them, and a few other things. Check the article to see if you agree with my thoughts.

Thanks for the reply, but this thread isn't meant to be a replacement for the longstanding MUGENized one here.

If anything, this series is focusing that theme to Marvel/DC and then taking the discussion level up to the extreme in the article.

My thinking was during this whole concept was if he was in Mugen, being able to grow to Apocalypse size at times, which could be really cool.

yeah, black canary should be done, two guys are working on her, one of them have benn working on her more than two years, way too long

on the marvel side , hank pym should definitely be made, e is one of the founding avengers.
Spidercarnage,let s not start on this one, we all know how many times some start to work on him and gave up too

I would be glad for my part that these characters were made:

DC:
1. Nightwing (the one released is a bad alpha and the sprites are horrible, he looks like a child)
2. Two face (arellon is working on him

)
3. alan scott green lantern or sentinel (someone started a wip three years ago ans still no release

)

MARVEL:
1. Scarlet spider
2. Iron man gladiator armor (the red and white one)
3. Daredevil because i m so busy to do other wips , i didn t get time to work on mine, but things should change soon.

See, that is why in the article i make reference to "publicly known" in the disclaimer as no way to keep up with whats being worked on underground.

And hopefully part 2 of the series will be published soon, the ideas there may be a little more abstract, but like i said, this whole project is more about entertainment than suggesting what should be worked on. (especially since not saying that at all, check the disclaimer

3.Hawk Girl (moderately hot from JLU)
4.Fire (Brazilian One from JLU)
5.Ice (JLU...i mean actually JLU sprites not just chun-li remake like Buyog made...)

Did you read the article? As Black Canary is discussed fully there.

Also Jean Grey, Fire, and Ice have been released and Hawk Girl is a current WIP by Vitoria.

A couple of others of those might be discussed in the future.

I would love to see some more spiderman villians like mysterio and the scorpion be brought into mugen. that and finally see a finished toxin.

Volzzilla, I would like to say that I am a fan of your site and that I bookmarked it when I first saw it appear here back around December/January. If by chance you write a piece about potential mugen characters from the capcom universe, I will be more than willing to contribute.

Well, confession time in that regard. I'm mainly interested in Marvel/DC characters and the like, so anything I would write Capcom wise would not be of the same caliber due to a lack of as good a knowledge base.

On that note though, on the rare occasion, I may branch out beyond just Marvel/DC. Small teaser, there will be a character in this series that will be discussed that is not in either of those camps. Large teaser, I have 2 things in the works for the future that will be more significant along those same lines.

So if any of you read those posts and had no idea what they were talking about, the second part of this series has been published, this time focusing on expanding the universes of Superman and Batman. Some of the char ideas are a little more abstract than the previous one.

And in response to JT's comment, if I discuss something that had a bad release previously, well, acting like that never happened so as maybe new inspiration might hit someone else, plus, I'm really having fun with this series, so don't want something like that limiting the articles as not only is it entertainment reading for you all, but it is entertaining for me to write them.

The Azrael supermove sounds way cool, but as for the comments like that and Wucash working on Penguin, like I said, anything not publicly discussing progress I'd have no idea about, so running with the project as if they are not worked on. This is all mentioned in the disclaimer, as well as a few other pertinent things. Besides, I'm proud of this article, don't want to delete anything,

The Livewire entry was fun due to the alterations, however concept wise no.
Vampire Batman was #4 there but Composite Superman was dead on
