I am very happy to show this update, I have wanter this hyper since I first started drawing Metalman.
Excursion has outdone himself programming this time.   >:D
It took him about a day and a half worth of coding trial and error getting it to behave and look correctly.
Here is his new portrait.  It shows up during his hyper and on his select screen. Here is the select screen view:
Here is a gif animation of his 3rd Hyper. You can move him around the screen in the air for a little while. I opted to go for the dragon/Metalman merge as it looked better than the dragon just flying in off screen.

You may call this super the "Dragon Rage"! Or something like this!
 >:-(-| Who's the third in your sig? Airman?

Maybe...  Maybe not....   ;)
That character (whomever it is...  ) will be different from the Megaman base because I think I will probably not want to edit Megaman again by that point.   This is a while into the future though.  ~X(

This character looks amazing! Keep up the awesome work.

This is very awesome so far. Lots of great ideas for MetalMan, instead of like, only shots of blades.

Metalman's most recent progress is really cool.  And is also a sneak peek at Crashman.   :O*D
I also worked on Metalman's stance as you can see in the first video with Crashman.
Here is my striker,  Crashman.  Sweeeet.   :w00t:

Diagonal throw:

Bouncing Blades:

Enjoy!   ;D

It isnt in the changestate. I just havent had time to fix it. I was hoping no one would catch that, but I forgot that everyone here at Infinity has hawk eyes and will catch any and every little detail.  :-[ Metalman will be bug tested and will not do that when he is finally released by laspacho.  ;D

I said it before and i`ll repeat it now.Metalman is gonna be awesome!
But i only have a question, are you sure you want to include Crash man as a striker?
I think he has enough proyectile based move to have a striker that throws another type of them <_<|...| But it`s just my opinion,i don`t like too much the use of strikers becuase they can save you from getting hit and are spammable as proyectiles or even worse(Jill everyone?)
Anyway,keep it up!

Wow seriously. I was way interested when Metalman was started but now.. wow.. Don't even know what to say. The progress of you guys working together is phenomenal, the sprites are lookin friggin amazing, and the coding seems to be spot on. Considering its the coder behind Cutman/Iceman tho, coolness was to be expected, bu seriously Ex, methinks you've outdonhe yourself.  :) On top of that the ridiculously awesome amount of ways to use the blades definitely make Metalman stand quite tall above other projectile users, showin them how it could really be done.  :w00t: If my pc ever gets fully fixed up (which I'm very much hopin will happen this month) I think I'm gonna try my hand at dustin off my old Elecman sprites and tryin to go at it again.. Definitely inspired by you guys work. Awesome..

Thanks for the kind words Darqueness. He (laspacho) has been very receptive to any suggestions or edits I may have made in the original sprite  or whatever and that is what makes this a good collaboration. Ultimately, this is his vision, with me making it work in MUGEN.

 >:-(-| I would love to see you pick up work on Elecman. It would be a tremendous addition to any MUGEN (Megaman-specific) roster.

Yes, thanks for the kind words.  This is a great collaboration between Excursion and Myself, I am always happy to take any suggestions or whatever.  Without Excursions help, suggestions, and coding Metalman in Mugen would never be a reality and for that I can never say thanks to him enough.
I would love to see you pick up you work on Elecman too, he would make an awesome Mugen Character.
If anyone has a avi of the old Megaman Tv show, the episode was called Future Shock, let me know.  I can use some sounds from there.  I haven't had any luck finding it surfing around the web.
Thanks

Superb. Every time something new is posted in this thread, I find myself wowed at the excellence inherent in each showing. Everything looks top notch, and it looks like you both will delive a stellar character that does justice to the boss character.

I especially love the Crashman striker. I'm curious. After Metalman is done, do you intend to do a full Crashman character? Felt I had to ask, since your avatar suggests it as a possibility. Personally, I think it would be an awesome thing to see. Crashman always was one of my favorite Megaman bosses.

It's great to see one of the awesome bosses of Megaman 2 get his due. Again, great work guys. You can tell this will be a blast to play when completed.
