I'm a long haired , freak . But when I would go looking for a job or to a wedding or something , I pull the hair back put on the dress shirt , pants & shoes . I must admit I clean up pretty well .

Anyway , you need to do that so you won't get that reaction .

Yeah, Prea mentioned about joining the team and I said if he was serious I'd put it to a vote. As you can probably guess by his current state of mind, Iceman was against the idea. I wont go any further into that though..

I never said cut your hair . People have been telling me that for years & I don't listen . Besides most women love it on me for some reason . I just said pull your hair back in a pony tail . Look somewhat respectable , we all have to  that sometime .

I gave you my tips . First impression is everything when it comes down to it . You may be the greatest worker out there , but an employer will not give you the chance to find that out , if you come for the interview with your hair in your face & ripped up jeans . That's a bad first impression . Unless you are appluing at Hot Topic , then I would suggest wear more Goth clothes & even some black eyeliner . 

OK , getting a job at Starbucks . Get a button up nice dress shirt . You can even have your style with it , it doesn't have to be baby blue or anything . Most of my dress shirts are black . Some black dress pants & boots or dress shoes  . Hair pulled back in a pony tail .

Now this should get you in the door at least . But the manager will probably still be thinking  " this guy cleaned up , but he's still a long haired freak " That's where you have to impress them with what kind of person you are & make a good impression that he or she will remember you when looking back through all the applicants later .
