Switched to CvS: Slash. Working on a Tekken 5 style select screen for it (big portraits).

now that I look at it, my mugen is weird... and custom...

I use EVE with the category view. I haven't gotten around to changing the categories to suit my needs yet, but I am going to remove "MK" and "POCKET" and replace them with a "RANDOM SELECT" (stacked vertically, it doesn't make sense how I'm explaining it, but it will be rad) I'm also going to remove the randomselect box from each category. I can find my characters no problem this way, but it seems to give my pals trouble until I can explain how it works. I'm thinking of using that screenpack selector to just have two EVE screenpacks that are identical except for the select screen, so I can use categories or icons (I've never touched the screenpack selector, so this may or may not work, in theory).

I changed the lifebars to those blue RBS ones, and edited a lot of fonts and the win icons and stuff (private lolz!). My fights are only one round (so when I impliment things like tag battles or bonus stages, they aren't fragged by round two). To offset this, the life is set to like 140% and the 2vs.1 handicap is set to 110%. Because of this, the only icons you see for winning are after two rounds, to keep track in survival mode. I'm also planning on taking that part that says "TIME SNK" and making it say "EVE BATTLE" or something, maybe just removing it altogether. The round snds and stuff are mostly taken from Third Strike, with the hyperpause and hit sounds from MVC2. I've also recently started messing around with having animated lifebar portraits. Eventually I want to change the "KO!" and "FIGHT" to something a little less... orange.

I've also added ignitz's street fighter alpha 3 survival fonts, using the "Bars" version. They look fantastic. I use doublerez=2.

Eventually I want to change the Vs. screen, because it cuts off portraits and looks strange. I had a theory on editing all of my portraits and placements so that teh select and vs screens use different portraits (like pizaman did for his Resident Evil screenpack) but I was also just thinking of adopting something similar to what the World warriors X screenpack uses (come to think of it, that whole screenpack is pretty similar to EVE, just more pink).

I use an edit of "Another Body Murdered" by faith no more/public enemy for the select music, but I haven't come up with something good for the Vs. music yet. I'm also putting together a custom intro and ending.

It's all so customized that it burns when it pees. I even changed where some files are located for organizational purposes. The whole thing is a big work in progress, I'm working to eventually have one big, balanced, bug free extravaganza that I can stick into an arcade cabinet and put in my living room. I should post some screenshots or something eventually.

I use Mugen Fighting Jam to record mugen and Broken Mugen for my main game. I might delete the Broken Mugen one though.

Capcom Evo Max (so beautiful it hurts) and Broken Mugen (Because it can hold more characters and has more announcers during combos)

I have two games setup, one is a full and custom SSF2X game and the other is my personal MvC-EoH game using an edited MvC1 Screenpack.

My screenpack is broken

Here are a couple of screens of the vs screen and of the lifebars, they are slightly edited versions of the X-men vs Street Fighter lifebars.

As for the music, the select screen uses a collection of all the various Capcom select music in one file so I don't get bored just using one song.

simply fantastic. will you be releasing this, or is it just a private edit? It looks like it could be a legit capcom vs. game.

Thx, actually this just a private edit of Doorhenge's MvC1 screenpack. I love the MvC1 SP and I just got bored and wanted to edit it to fit my tastes. I'm still in the process of editing it and fixing things here and there.....it's not perfect after all.

well for something unfinished, it looks fantastic. I like how it's subtle changes to something already established.

Well, looks like I went and changed my MvC1 screenpack into something new. This is my new game setup called Super Capcom Fighters. I'm sticking to the Marvel Super Heroes lifebars for now till I come up with some new edited ones. I think I'll be sticking to this edited SP for awhile since it fits my style.

I use EVE with marvel vs streetfighter lifebars with edited Dead or Alive announcer, and meteor/bloodsparks hit sparks. I wish someone would make the combo font for the mvsf lifebars bigger. The numbers are really little

I use the BrokenMugen screenpack with the Virtual Fighter 5 inspired lifebars. I used to use the EVE screenpack, but BM loads much faster.
