The story between Jin Kazuya and Heihachi are far more interesting than the Ken Ryu Saga. Also You can't spam projectiles in tekken like In the SF games.

Besides I am more of a Tekken Fan than a SF fan. I play Tekken V Dark Resurrection Online all of the time on my Ps3 when im home from work. To me, its more of a solid Fighting game than the SF series.

I like the Disfunctional Family issue that game features, its funny.

I'm not flaming Dimps or this game, I am disappointed with it totally.
After How many years of street fighter, since 1988 or 1989, and whats is it today?, 2008?

And you dont think im tired of seeing Ken and Ryu? Akuma was cool at first until ppl just use him to spam air fireballs and rely on his raging demon for the win, but seriously though I rather see something new with less Ken and Ryu.

The concept of this game here is a 3-D SFII make over and Ken and Ryu of course are featured, again and they look like rejects from Ready To Rumble Boxing and over 80 percent of the cast are from the SFII series. Now here is a poll to vote for the next character? Wow what a selection, The same chars from the SFII series again with the exception of Ibuki. When I seen those choices, I quickly closed that page.

Many of you are SF fanboys but if you been around as long as I have since the very first SF game, you will grow tired of the same old cast of characters as well.

Hell they could of added some chars that never made it from the first SF like Geki for one. or even some SFIII chars like Elena, Yang/Yun, and Makoto.

To sum up my rant, SFIV IMO is a complete let down.

That's why they made a ton of other games, and each one of them didn't come as close to successful as SF. You say you want a fighting game without Ryu and Ken? It's going to end up in the same graveyard as most of there other non-sf fighting games then.

Honestly, I hate Namco for the bs they did with some of my favorite Tekken 2 characters.
Like Michelle got kidnapped by Heihachi and hasn't been seen since,
Jun... oh yeah now we get that wannabe Asuka
Kazuya should have thrown Heihachi into an active volcano.
Tekken 6 is just Tekken 5:DR with new characters and new moves for old characters, but I'd rather see more old characters return.

Honestly, I like Soul Calibur 50 times more over Tekken because they never screwed off the original cast, and I like how they took Sigfried from a wussy, made him into knightmare, and turned him into a bad@ss when knightmare got his own body.

Well Ingrid is like one of the main focus' now cuz she is the original holder of bison's power (but she's on the good side).
And ruby heart just cuz she's not on anything but mvc2. Gotta get her into the mix of other sf's before she dies out.

At this point anybody would be better than those four new rejects that they thought would make great new characters. I say they should have a vote to take out those four and put in better ones...like the new challengers, but I would like to see new characters that have better designs and that fit in with the SF2 cast better.

I've been playing SF since part 2 and I haven't gotten tired of a char yet. Those 5 new SF4 chars, old chars having new/altered specials and the great graphics and smooth animations is enough for me. Agreed on the SF1 chars thing though. Those chars seriously need to be revived.

Yeah yeah, I know Ingrid is in Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the PSP.  My point still stands.  Ingrid is a big nobody who was crammed into the Street Fighter games when Capcom Fighting "Evolution" went nowhere.

Fine, forget about putting Amingo in Street Fighter.  Imagine putting him instead in Darkstalkers.  Still inappropriate... just like putting Ruby Heart into Street Fighter.  Now... taking out Crimson Viper and replacing her with Ruby Heart in Street Fighter IV... maybe I'll go with that.

well maybe we should give the wanna be angela jolie a chance . hmmm, naw amingo wont fit into darkstalkers either cuz a killer cactus never made it into the horror film business . darkstalkers goes for more of the classic horror films. Well there was a horror film called the body snatchers that the aliens put the people in a pod to clone them. wait a sec, the pods werent alive so naw, amingo wouldnt fit in darkstalkers either (little shop of horror wasnt a horror film ). Maybe amingo fits more with the MegaMan theme.... Although ingrid was crammed in like that, her storyline maintained a very very STRONG part in the story that leads you to wonder, what else is going on with her. Her and Rose should be included in sf4 considering there strong storyline hold on the alpha 3 series. I mean, she is actually pretty good and they dont have any lil kid like chars on there. So she should make a nice fit. i mean they did put her on capcom fighting all-stars too so ya know...she musta made some big impact.
