Maran~Sama there are awesome sprite editing jobs from you! i cant wait for this character... you show us great tidbits :) but i think you should watermark your animated sprite edits, so they cant be stolen!

OK! Time for my ideas! 1. his kaiser wave should be done like a hadoken, like when ryu does his denjin hadoken and charges it, but the kaiser wave, the projectile itself, should remain the same tho, or maybe a red kaiser wave with the fire and burn effect, 2. For one of his supers, you could have him do the wind slice move, (the move where he run through his opponent and they get hit by six hits) three times back and fourth, and finishes it off by holding his hand up, and making a fist, you know, the bloody hand intro he has, and then after he makes a fist, the hits start registering, something like ninja scroll or different samurai animes that they cut so fast, you wont see the effects until moments later! 3. Will you give him the kongou kokuretsuzan? how about that move, combined with rugals gigantic pressure! He holds his hand up in the air, gathers the power, and then punches the opponent with that power, but instead of holding the opponent, the opponent flies to the end of the level, hits the wall, and then the big skull shows up as the opponent hits the wall! 4. And finally, my favorite move in all fighting game, the most cool move in all fighting games....the MISOGI! how about having asura do the god end super, then right before he pops the opponent up, he phases out, and comes down instantly with the misogi, crushing the opponent to the ground! I hope this helps, and you get good ideas from my ideas, just wanna help as you create a most anticipated char! And also, you could look at vyn's(where are you man!!!) cvsx rugal too, he has his kof moves in there made cvs!.........wow, 7 days and no reply to this topic?

thx for comments, ill check the ideas.

btw, first round of sprites sent to LotF. i had still to edit gethits, smooth some anims, and several specials/hypers.

Im taking fresh air from asura 4a week or two. However im working in  a 2nd wip, wich is an SNK2CVS conversion. I actually started time ago, but with a valuable tip by a buddy i re-started all over lol.


please feel free to still comment or suggest about Asura, im not losing from sight this thread..

i don't know if pots's gouki has this hyper but i know it from sf3, it's the only tasumaki hyper he had is sf3 so i think sf3 gouki by GM has it.
i would keep the Reppu Ken since he is a mixed character, and maybe alter the kaiser wave into something similar to a haohshoukoken.

here are some more.
-maybe you can mix the final ultimate rugal's hyper called "g.end" i think, with sf3rd downX3 + 3p akuma's hyper and make it end with it instead of rugal just letting go of the enemy.
-maybe some original hypers.
-make the hyper where where he hangs the enemy by the neck drain life from the enemy.
-a 1 hit super armor? not sure about it myself, but i think he needs some sort of superiority.
-some new intros, like maybe an actual akuma rugal fusion intro.

the get hit thing would look cool, maybe just for the heavy hits and the get dizzy animation.
as for the kaiser wave i meant changing the looks of the move itself and how it affects the enemy, like changing the projectile look and stuff like that.

Lovin' the new animation of his stance. The hair and everything is much more fluid. KoF styled palette is sick too, looks more evil cause of the darker colors of it.

The KOF pallete looks more realistic, that's what I thought KOF was meant to be, because a former artist for KOF made pictures that made KOF fighters looks real. So I'd like to use the KOF pallete anytime. NICE.

 :w00t: great job, I must say that the new animations are awesome ... I agree with that of not avercharge this character with such a quantity of hyper moves, Because it results some hard to remember them all, and the character may lost some playability, i mean you will be charging it so hard to keep using only the hypers and it will become boring, and the player will lost the emotion of using all the skills, to make combos, etc..., it happened to me. I downladed shin akuma and it has a lot of hypers, but i kept using only them because they look pretty good, then I realized that I was not really enjoying it so I left hem apart and use the character from the beggining, usin all the moves, combos, etc... the became fu again... Sorry with the boring story ... keep the good job, hope to see some new info from you again, cheers  =D>  :thumbsup:

The new animation is beautiful but just one thing, his real hair in the pictures is Gouki styled. The Rugal hair takes away from the Goukish face

well, the time for thinking in Sound has arrived.

Here and in the Guild, im taking auditions to voice acting Asura, should be a Dark voice, of course familiar to, yet not the same of Rugal or gouki.

here are some sentences, provided by chosis (thx man) so you can read them and do a sample.
you can provide as many entries as you want, would be cool w&W/o filters/effects.
