Human Torch - MvC: EoH and the Baxter Building stage
« on: February 24, 2008, 01:59:40 AM »
With the sprite work of xboy and a little programming by myself, Human Torch hovers into your Mugen. From the previous verision, this has a few bug fixes, a few added animation and the new command list intro. I hope everyone enjoys him.

Also included is the Baster Building stage by Dead X and BigJ. The main base of the Fantastic Four is probably the last place they wanted to find themselves battleing in, but at least the view is spetacular.

A really solid character. Thanks for the release and all the hard work you've put in Acey.

Oh, and mine and BigJ's stage, I forgot about that  :-[

Yeah yeah, churn and burn!

Still looks a little strange that he doesn't have a blocking stance, but heh, who am I to say anything?

One thing I will say is that like Capt. Marvel, he has that Huge-ness about him, big like Buyog's Green Lantern, which makes his lp miss alot of characters. But I digress, again  ^^(PM)^

Good digression...

What you're seeing here in the examples you stated above are characters that are floating above the ground. Below is a size char that shows that Captain Marvel stands right where he should, it's just the fact that he's floating high and his feet dangle down that make him automatically look taller. It's true that this may make them miss more of the shorter characters but the short characters have shorter arms so they miss almost everyone unless they're really close. I think the variety works well. Captain Marvel, Human Torch and Green Lantern all share this one thing, they are floating above the ground.

 >:-(-| But since he came up in conversation . Is Eskro going to allow Captain Marvel to be released separately ? I know there was that whole issue with the leak & all . Just wondering . Is Eskro still around ?

it's a little hard to do his diagonal blast.

I would think that a man made out of fire standing under a waterfall would be a very bad thing.

no I downsized it, but I did get rid of all the unwanted pixels by hand in MS Paint & made it transparent for the select screen, yes. same with the surfer's portrait

that's my in-progress roster by the way, of what I've been able to recover & expand with, so far. Still not done..
