It would be cool if it was like a tour or something, Stopping at major cities along the way. Of course that would cost an assload of dinero :o

Ok...."online Mugen Festival?"...only the cost of the connection.....
1.website
2.rules
3.categories
4.awards (best wip, best male char, best female char, best spriter, best palette editor.. etc..)
5.on-line jury a)leaders of the Mugen forums b)users
6.prizes
Well...that sounds a bit more affordable indeed...
i always literally dreamed about meatin redhot and scar in a mugen festival i always wanted people to know da real Nutpatch

LOL!i could be closer to REDHOT than you imagine(same country...* nutpatch looks at my profile in avi and cries for the long distance*=

Here is a great idea, an Infinity Booth at a GameCon or ComicCon, what's our options then?

Well, I think that might be hard, ude'd probly get stuck in a small space, the cover charge for eveyone else would be stupidly high, and food even more expencive. And then booth runners would be stuck there while everone else waits in line for MGS4 or Brawl.

If we had our own Infinity Con we wouldnt need that big of area, a few computers and some controllers and stuff,
We'd only have to charge for food (unless it was sponcerd) space rental, and mabie a little extra so like a tourni could be held and a prize given out.

Are you sure?

Ok, who's in?

Im down.

a mugen gathering? <_<|...|

what would be held there?... a contest for creations? a fighting tourney?

if we have a tourney that would be hard considering that we have to pick out characters that qualify for it...

I actually have some small MUGEN tourneys at my school, since a ton o people at my school play mugen. I'm like almost always second or third place with Evil Ken by reu. And it's cool cause the librarian at our school is with it, hell he even plays it too. But we set limits on the charaters.

I agree. I don't want pay plane tickets. I'd rather take the subway and just pay 2 dollars to get there and 2 dollars to get back. But than again it wouldn't be fair to most of you guys.

I think it would be really interesting meeting a lot of people from all the world  that plays mugen.

The only things that could make some troubles its the place ( everyone prefers to be near home) , the  money ( not everyone has the money to travel ), and if its going to be in the usa the non-american people (like me) will have to buy a passport, and they take almost like half a year to give it

I repeat that for me could be a great idea an Europe location, not only because is in the middle-earth between USA and China but also because could be cheapper find a place (a big one) to meet everybody and start the awards....

or you could have multiple cons around the world at the same time and broad cast live feed from all the conventions..... think that could work  :)

Create a panel that appears at multiple conventions and possibly grow from there.

If you had everybody in one place it would be bedlam. I have no doubt there would be a few swings thrown here and there. I'm guessing a couple members of certain teams wouldnt even show up.

Wouldnt it be great if there was an Oowhap panel. I would just kick back with a flask of Jager and watch that train wreck.

It could be a big tournament where players around the world compete like the madden tournaments

i think there could be multiple  mugen tournamnets i could save my full mugen made games to a disk since none of mine include cheap characters except for da boss and all da characters are balanced. i got my mvc2 mugen game, KoF 2001 mugen game, CVS2 Mugen Game, Samurai Shodown Mugen Game, Capcom Fighting Jam, Snk Fighting Evolution, SVC Tag Chaos, MVC Special Edtion, and some others i cant think of right now or we could have A MVCEOh Tournament or Marvel Vs DC Tournament

It's easy to dress up like kung fu man, and I'd like to do it  ;D

btw, I wonder if we can use cheap characters like Nightmare Broly, Omni Psych Super Dizzy....etc for tournament :|
